Also, why wouldn’t the agents just get rid of him after he essentially almost broke free?

Same animator worked 20-40years on Redline anime movie

The Agents let him run for fun which is why they smiled. They easily caught up by teleportation and touched him to turn him off. He was basically a soulless robot.

i think this is the quality of animation jojo's bizarre anime is trying to reach, or at least that's what i think their show deserves

I’m pretty sure it’s meant to be that this is a different iteration (or build) of the matrix, hence the red code and the slightly different looking agents, and that this guy was the “Neo” in that version.

So much work and mind work to do it... Yet these kind of amazing people still strugles with freeing their mind which shows NEO was trully the chosen ONE... Amazing..

Makes you wonder just how many anomalies the Machines had to keep tabs on. People who aren't quite "Ones", but have managed to see past the veil of the Matrix. God there's so much they could've done with this series, instead of Resurrections...

With enough willpower a person can break the program. They would still need a crew from Zion there that’s already planning to set him free from his pod to get him fully out but it’s interesting to know that with enough will a person can still break beyond what is considered possible and be set free

This is so intense and he is just running inside the virtual world and wake himself up just by running so fast he had broken the matrix code. Just imagine Usain Bolt run so fast he glitches out of reality. Insane story also really good animation style.

For some reason when you see that timeboard stop at 8.72, and you see Davis fall to destruction.... it makes me feel some way. I think anybody who has done something they thought they couldn't do, can relate to that feeling. It's strange

So the machines are constantly scouting the matrix trying to find the "one" and they found the 4th one here. And because the machines are not yet ready to start the 4th Zion, they put him back into Matrix.

They really should have expanded on this. By making 4 complete series of how each of the "ones" were discovered, how they build Zion, and how they fight the machine before being wiped out.
