when I clicked on this video I thought it was a How to Basic video
Ответитьbut where does the desert plate and finger bowl go?
Ответитьyou lost me at "plate you're not allowed to eat on"
ОтветитьThis guy's sarcasm is everything... <3
ОтветитьAm i the only one
Who sits on the couch with my dinnerplate on my lap
And just eats dinner in front of the tv
I hate cheez-its out of the box for dinner
Ответитьif every human actually did this every singl day pigs wont be pigs they will be humans....does i makes sence to anyone for me it does
ОтветитьWhy would I need an overly moody guy trying to explain how to properly setup a dinner table? If there were a reason for me to search a video telling me how to setup a table, I would want the person explaining to enjoy what he/she was doing and give a nice explanation without all the moodiness. Yeash
ОтветитьWhy do you have to be pretentious to enjoy having fancy dinner settings? (This isn't even that fancy.) Do Buzzfeed folks ever go to formal dinners for work? Plus a slightly less fancy version of this dinner plate with knife, fork, and soup spoon is an every day occurrence for most people, right? Or am I so out-of-touch with fellow millennials???
ОтветитьIt's elegant and adds exquisiteness to a fabulous dinnerparty!
ОтветитьThis is literally the worst BuzzFeed video I have seen so far. When you make fun of some good manners and etiquette, at least do it right! That dinner table looks goddamn awful, and it's not even close to a bein a 'proper' dinner table.
Why do you even make fun of such 'unnecessary' things as etiquette? It's not all just stuck up people and setting a proper dinner table can be a nice change every once in a while. I think having no idea of basic manners is the real crime here.
G
ОтветитьCouldn't have done it any worse. Wrong and incomplete. Not to mention annoying.
Ответитьwhat's the BGM
Ответитьand now a single person must clean the dishes for 3 servings
Ответитьnothing wrong with being fancy once in a while
Ответитьforgot the fish knife that goes above where the dessert silverware is
ОтветитьI worked for like, a day, at a very fancy golf club and had to set up all the tables like this. They forgot the fish knife.
Ответитьis it weird that I knew it was Shane from his voice and hands?
Ответитьwtf
ОтветитьThis kind of reminds me of that scene in Pretty Woman when she was being taught how to eat properly.
ОтветитьThe OCD in me couldn't handle the messy set up
ОтветитьStooooppp im a waiter that soo wrong u make me sick
ОтветитьThank you so much...I have no idea when I'll ever use this knowledge ((aka every day at school ever)), but it's nice to know.
ОтветитьI need an HTB version
ОтветитьYou miss the proper distance and the right angle between each object.
Ответитьthis is a normal dinner for me XD and I cringe at how poorly organized this guy was
ОтветитьThere are so many things I could comment about in this video, but I'll just say one thing. That's too small to be a teaspoon, so it's probably a coffee spoon
ОтветитьI have to set up like this at my catering job and man it is such a bother to buss and thank the gods of old that I don't have to wash them;)
ОтветитьIt's so weird, because apparently the proper way to do this differs in different countries, and I never knew. The "proper" way isn't completely different where I live (Austria), but I wouldn't call it "similar" either...
Ответитьlol
ОтветитьAnf that protantious dessert will be a big cheesy pizza.
Ответитьi literally use the same spoon or fork throughout the whole meal
Ответитьoh.my.god... y u do dis?
It's not straight ... and it's not the same in every country there are different standards everywhere xD
not meant to be mean! I just had to laugh and my inner waitress kicked in - good video though
I don't know about you guys, but I always eat with separate forks or spoons for dinner and desert. This guy says it's so unnecessary, but I think using just one spoon for soup, desert and coffee would be kind of gross.
ОтветитьHe forgot the soup bowl and there are two separate wine glasses, one for white and one for red. And you but the butter knife next to the other knife. He also forgot the teacup.
Ответитьit's kinda messy, at least try to put knife and fork in straight line
Ответитьwhy did i even click on this when in my culture we eat with our hand ...
ОтветитьI was expecting ZeFrank to narrate this.
ОтветитьJust give me my chop sticks please :)
ОтветитьJust give me my chop sticks please (eys roll) :)
Ответитьy'all seriously worried about it not being straight.
Ответить...I'm gonna order pizza.
ОтветитьDon't forget to always make the knife face the edge of the plate
ОтветитьThat's not a soup spoon
ОтветитьYou are judging people because they like clean settings? Well not everyone is comfortable eating cereal off of a spatula.
ОтветитьI don't consider myself to be pretentious nor do I host formal dinners, but I didn't care for the obnoxious tone. I searched formal dinner settings in case I would like to host a formal dinner for a special occasion. It's important to be educated and cultured even in practices that aren't part of our routine rituals so we don't present ourselves like total uneducated jackasses with bad manners. Besides, what's the point of having a formal dining table and fine china and crystalware if we can't even properly set a formal table setting? Might as well break out the dixie cups and styrofoam plates for things like weddings.
ОтветитьWatching this video is making me twitch. So many things are missing and what is there is placed wrong. I mean you don't need to know a thing about formal dining to look at that butter knife to see how wrong it is just slapped on that plate askew like that!!
ОтветитьThe most important is to put silverware on a dirty table like this one.
ОтветитьThis is sloppy!
