How I cracked GSoC in 6 months | Real Documentation

Could you tell me a Road map for 2nd year student to crack gsoc..And What are the technologies and coding languages need to be learnt ? When to apply?

If I am concentrating in learning specific development skills like python and AI/ML/DS/DL for GSoC and in general open source contribution, which roadmaps should I follow? For example, there is a roadmap of Krish Naik for AI. Is going through that enough for being able to contribute to open source?
