just curious how Distribution Lists work from the point of view of the user. Was hoping you could verify or correct how I've imagined it: the owner writes the name of the email address into the send to section of Outlook, submits it and then it goes to all the members of that distribution list?

When you assign someone a role does it grant the user access or privileges that someone without that role wouldn't have? Or is it just like a title?
