Nigerian government had treated Niger Deltans very very bad for many years. This time around the Niger Deltans will not accept amnesty again. What happened to Iraq that led to Kuwait that was the oil producing region to had its own country today will happen in Nigeria if they are not careful. Sadam Heusen did the same thing that the government of Nigeria is doing to Niger Deltans to the people of Kuwait when the were part of Iraq. Now the are a country of their own. The time has come. Awon iranu, rada rada oshi. Tell the governor to obey the court and present the state budget to the house to approve. He should stop the blackmail in the interest of the rivers state people. If what you are saying about stopping oil is true, let him do it if he thinks he can disobey the court judgement on the state budget by holding Nigeria to ransome. Fubara is not better than Wike, he even appears to be worse but you people would not see it because of political sentiments driven mostly by the outcome of the 2023 presidential election. Fubara is a king who is working to remove his kingmaker after he was crown so that he too will become both king and the kingmaker at the same time. With the local government election he is almost close to achieving that. He has already created the ground for becoming a political godfather like Wike that you are all against. Now all the local government in rivers is under his control. Like Wike who wants the structure to remain so he can continue to assert his influence in the political affairs of the state Fubara is working to achieve Wike's status too without putting the interests of people of rivers in the front.
The governors should just accept that the lawmakers are still in the house until the court decides their fate. So he should humble himself and present the budget to them. Our level of sentiment is too much in this country so we are blind to the truth.
