Most women who grew up with brothers don't have this issue. Especially if they are older and love to taunt you.

Yiu learn real quick to tell people to fvck off!

My Greek boss was like that too, she would steal my property and get angry with me. Another African American female employee started fights because they didn’t like Asian Indian American women.

Can I just throw one idea up in the air? What is wrong with finishing last? Where do you need to 'finish' and what does it mean to be 'first' versus 'last'? If you spend your life catapulting other people forward, inspiring others, helping them to thrive... does that mean you have failed somehow?

I had supervisor reprimand me at my last job in-front of everyone and i walked away for a minute too to calm down because nothing good was going to come out of my mouth. I asked her and third person to come outside and we discussed it. The next week she let me go and I called her boss and her boss called me back to work and her boss ended up reprimanding her in private. Her boss also told me she can’t do that and that she is not a supervisor even though she was telling me the whole time I was there that she was. Covid hit and fate intervened. I don’t care who it is no deserves to be treated disrespectfully.

I went from being a nice girl to a Kick-ass girl. Please ladies, don't leave this earth, leave your horrible partners instead. I left my husband after 20 years of abuse. I left with nothing and had nowhere to stay. Spent 9 months in a women's shelter and now I'm going through a horrible divorce. Don't give up, become a warrior, not a worrier! 🙏

I will never not check a man’s phone again after being with a “porn addict” aka entitled man child with no integrity. It changed me. The way they can lie. No man is so trustworthy that I’m not looking through his phone. Could have saved me years of my life

I was always this quiet girl.. One day i stood up for myself when these people were disrespecting me stepping over the boundaries. I had it and I talked back.. The person fell silent. When I told this to my own family. They told me it's wrong and they yelled at me and made me feel bad about my own words and trying to protect myself. I cried that night. I cannot believe they want me to grow up to be a people's pleaser.

I think being on a partner's phone is all about trust. If you both are able to be on each other's phone and respect privacy (not searching for "evidence") that means there is a strong level of trust between the two people. Using your partner's phone to search for an address on Google, to make a call because your phone is dead.....the minute you are searching for evidence means that trust was broken and it requires rebuilding. Trust means you aren't lying to each other or hiding facts, or omitting truths....doing that breaks trust and ultimately respect

I left my old job after the newly promoted CEO tried to bully me. When I stood up for myself she was shocked and infuriated. Any time I have stood up for myself in my life, people didn’t like it. If I don’t stand up for myself, no one will.

oddly enough, I've learned from the chihuahua I had from a puppy, until she passed at 21. She was very friendly to family, even cousins who were grabby toddlers at first who were a bit rough with her. When she was an adult, my teenage self moved with my mom across the country to live with a stepdad who did not feel the need to respect someone who was a whopping 7lbs. He threw her on the floor giving her a permanent limp that my mom would not take her to the vet for. Two years later, she permanently tore his ankle up through his house shoe. He did not mess with her again, or keep her locked up in my room full time. She was still friendly to family and people I had no grief with, but I figured if that little furball could gain respect with someone grumpy and many times her size, maybe I should do the same. She did not take treat bribes from him, so why should I ignore when people show themselves?

I’ve done the silent ghosting to abusive “friends” or colleagues, just distance myself from them, don’t answer their calls/emails, decline invitations etc…. And one day they’re just out of my life and I’m content!

I don’t feel rage very often but I do get pissed in my own way, the best way I work through that is journalling!

If you have nothing to hide from your partner, then yeah they can check your phone, emails etc at whatever time they want.

I think if both of you have all the sign in information then you “feel at ease” and feel trust that they trust you with your sign in/passwords.

Doesn’t mean you will go in and check emails etc, but just knowing you can, is enough.

You can still be nice and advocate for your needs although it takes energy and a willingness to walk away and stick to boundaries …the people whose thoughts I respect and listen to the most don’t swear and inspire me to the depths of my soul

Being nice is a coping mechanism for insecure people, let’s just face it, there is no point in trying to please people, first be the version YOU like and the ones meant for you will stand by your side.

I get betrayed at work a lot but at this point it doesn’t hurt cos it’s conditional trust relationship
