I understand that, people who are not fans of high jump, may not know some things but talking about Tamberi's achievements (he has won everything now: Olympics, WC outdoor/indoor, EC outdoor/indoor) it has to be remembered that in 2016 (when was the strongest always with Barshim) it was injured during a competition (trying the 2.41, after jumping 2.39), at that point he had to skip Rio 2016 and even it was not known if he would be able to return to the competitions.
He has not only returned but has won first the Tokyo Olympics Games and now the World Championships, despite had to change the way he took off foot cause that injury; sure, he may never break again the 2.40 barrier (however 2.39 is a very good PB) but jumping 2.37 in the Olympics or 2.36 tonight is almost a sporting miracle for him.

Why he was awarded gold for the same height as of Harrison???
