Control System Connections for a Daktronics Message Center Display with Hy-Tek and FinishLynx

This how to video gives visual instruction on how to connect the control room equipment for Track Systems which use a Daktronics Message Center Display. Connections of a Daktronics Message Center Display to Hy-Tek and FinishLynx is shown in this video.

Hi, Curt Engels here with Daktronics. In this video we will show you how to connect your Finish Lynx Timing System along with Hytek Meet Manager to a Daktronics Message Center.

Here in our setup today, we have a Finish Lynx camera, the Daktronics Show Control laptop, our Daktronics Message Center, the Finish Lynx laptop, and on the end your Hytek laptop.

All these pieces of equipment connect over a network. So, here in the center, we have a Netgear router that will connect everything up with standard Ethernet cables.

On your camera we will connect up to the Netgear switch with an Ethernet cable. Next is our show control laptop. Our display. The Finish Lynx laptop. And last the Hytek computer.

With the system connected via network, we are now ready to configure the settings in Finish Lynx and Hytek to output data to a Daktronics display.
