My truly Respect to you and your fine taste and sense for your HiFis... Geraldine 😊
ОтветитьYou the best 😘
ОтветитьWow a girl and vintage stereo equipment, that is all a guy needs. i have a lot of videos on my channel of my vintage boombox collection, i also have some vintage hifi's on there. also my main stereo, my Kenwood M85 with 2x 14 band spectrum analysers from 1991.
ОтветитьThose speakers were made by TAD... thus the "Elite" badge, and they have a good reputation.
ОтветитьFun random fact: Heathkit also made sirens for police cars. The Heathkit GD-18 was a siren that came in a kit that you put together yourself. They were popular and many police cars in the USA used them
ОтветитьWow! Very nice set up and system!
ОтветитьI wish my wife had the same love for vintage HIFI 😢 Beautiful setup BTW, I’m picking up a Hitachi DA-1000 today after searching for years! Not so common in Australia.
ОтветитьIts great to see a young woman interested in vintage hi fi, keep it up.
ОтветитьHey! You have such a cool and true vintage setup. Loved your video amd the gear. Never seen the Hitachi CD player and the cassette deck before. Amazing stuff!
ОтветитьGreat system Geraldine!!
ОтветитьWow, I've never seen that Hitachi cassette deck and CD player before but they are very cool. I still have my Dual CS5000 turntable I bought back in the '90s and it's a good one. You have a very interesting rig I must say.
Ответитьyeah, thta hitachi is really cool. i dig the gear. eclectic collection.
Ответитьluv the look of that heathkit
ОтветитьWhat a gorgeous set up, excellent work girl love from Greece 👍🇬🇷
ОтветитьDamn!! Such a supreme set up and gear!!
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤ amazing 👏 .
ОтветитьMy dad had that Heathkit setup. There was a speaker that went with it. I assumed it was a mono setup. Not sure what ever became of it but I have and recapped his old Pioneer SX-780 with a Realistic EQ/Spectrum analyzer that I always loved as a kid. CD's are through a cheap Sony DVD player. I'd love to have a cool vertical loader like that Hitachi, but prices for this aging gear are getting obscene. I don't do vinyl. Again, prices are just way too high.
Ответитьsick setup
ОтветитьWow nice tape deck and laser disc player , you're right those are so rare ! Your speakers are awesome to studio type . Nice set up 😊
Ответить😂😂..."your" Setup !? ... This is hilarious... And even Vintage ?! Are you even old enough to know what CD is for and how to use it ?
ОтветитьYou have a very nice hi-fi system there. 👍👍👍
Greetings from Hamburg Germany,
Andre🤠😎
Who actually uses the imputs for what they were designed for?! (Except phono, nobody plugs standard line level into phono bc it fries things)
ОтветитьO love it! I used to get the Heathkit catalog. Along with the radio shack and Lafayette catalogs, I was set! I still have the Lafayette and RS catalogs.
ОтветитьI'm truly impressed with your pick of components. How did you get this audio quest ? Was your father or grandfather in to audio I was just wondering how you got into this. Very refreshing to see this.
ОтветитьGreat video! I have two pair of the TZ-7’s and really love their sound! I believe this will be a speaker that will be harder to find and more expensive in the future as people wake up to how great they are.
Ответитьcan i merry you. i mean you had everything hahahahaha just kidding
Ответитьnice setup
ОтветитьVery cool setup
ОтветитьThey're called records and what plays them is referred to as a record player.
ОтветитьVc tem um otimo gosto parabéns
ОтветитьWell, I am impressed with your age that you have the equipment that you have. I would say you probably had some help from your parents. That’s a good thing and it’s always good that at your age do you were getting into the stuff that keeps it going for the next generation, but as far as your taste for speakers that’s up to you if you like it that’s all that matters who cares what we the general public thinks so if you give up keep up with the good work and plenty of that stuff out there, you never know. Funny thing is I never seen a dog sit like that either but I did have that CD player probably 30 or 40 years ago when it first came out totally impressed. Great job.
ОтветитьHi very nice rig❤
Do you do your own repairs?
If you take the brush off your dual cartridge you'll improve the tracking & sound quality of ya vinyl, a stylus shouldn't drag a BROOM behind it!
ОтветитьVery unique set up ! Never seen a couple of your components! Very interesting ! Thanks
ОтветитьYou are fantastic!
ОтветитьWow...Nice set up.
ОтветитьYour amplifier Mc Intosh 240 is fantastic...
I own the Marantz 8b. It was the gold age for hifi in the sixteen ...
Love your system and channel Geraldine!
ОтветитьThe TZ-7 features:
two 8-inch woofers front and rear.
one 2.56-inch cone mid-range.
one 1.0- inch dome tweeter.
The mid-range and tweeter employed newly developed ceramic carbon.
The d'Appolito positioning of the tweeter (middle instead of top) allows a closer version of the "one point" source illusion and also helps smooth horizontal dispersion
.
Power rating= 50- 250 watts
Impedance= 4 ohms.
Efficiency: 89dB
Speakers can be bi-amped.
Minimum recommended power: 50 watts, Maximum 250 watts
Cabinets: 40.2" H x 12.6" W x 14.2" D (102 x 32 x 36 cm)
Weight:77 lbs.(35kg)
You like what you like but I do find it funny that you would choose the TZ-7's over JBL L100's or given the size of your McIntosh Amp the Klipsch speakers. 40WPC is pretty under powered for your speakers.
Great HiFi. Ignore the so-called experts about speakers!
ОтветитьVery nice setup one hell of a setup
ОтветитьGreat to see a woman love her stereo . Looks great. I love the set up. Enjoy your stereo and music.
ОтветитьI fallow you on the gram, Amazing setup smile😊
ОтветитьYou are a true audiophile young lady. I think that Heathkit was one I built in the late 70's? The Pioneer are reference grade speakers. The Hitachi CD player was originally $4000 bucks or so I think. Wonderful to see a new generation so excited by music and audio components.
ОтветитьMe encanta tus equipos❤
ОтветитьSo sweety 👏
ОтветитьWhat an amazing range of gear! I love those Pioneer TZ-7 speakers (very rare, it seems, because they were only made in California), your cool Hitachi CD and tape players, and your Heathkit units. Also, I didn't know you could get separate dolby noise reduction units! Thanks, so much, for your video!
ОтветитьThose Pioneer TZ 7 are indeed great speakers and for those who don t know, Pioneer brand launched itself with their first products being great drivers/speakers
ОтветитьIndeed, you should cherish these Pioneer loudspeakers. They were actually designed by TAD, the little known but prestigious (ultra) high end audio brand of Pioneer. These are very rare and definitely high end speakers. An excellent vintage choice. Many disregard that Pioneer did make some great hi-fi gear along with much more basic consumer electronics, although always on the rather higher quality (and durability) standards side of the market. 👌👍
