You know its a lantern so why pose it as a UFO?

I used the word UFO within quotation marks, which is a journalistic way of showing that a description should not be taken literally. I could have easily edited out the first 20-30 seconds of video leaving footage of a vague light in the distance. Many people have done just that and tried to pass off videos of lanterns as genuine 'UFO footage'. I wanted to show that the UFO I filmed was nothing of the sort, but I could quite easily have presented it otherwise.

@MyOroInvictus i dont know what to say to that, on this video it seems pretty much like a lantern to me, nothing extra terrestrial here. I do believe they are here and have been for some time. I dont trust the government at all !

Its a Russian Spy lantern.During the second world war the Japanese  sent such balloons and lanterns to America. they where manned by monkeys with  early polaroid cameras  to  shoot places where industry was concentrated. The film was returned by other ground agents and monkeys returning on the jet stream to Japan .Much of the intel for the Pearl Harbour raid  1941 was taken from high flying balloon and mini subs disguised as Pacific Right Whales.Maybe theres more to these every day objects than meets the eye.I note they seem to be flying counter prevailing winds? They must be self propelled!
