Is this gimbal good for the Samsung s24ultra

It looks like i have some issues with the gimbal. In the L mode my gimbal pans and tilts, can you please explain me why is this happening and also provide me with a solution!!

I have an Oppo Find X6 Pro. The cameras are great most of the time. But the cameras suffer from focus pumping. I was looking at the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 which looks like it has a better app with video editing capabilities. Is the Hohem better than the DJI?

the gimbal shutter button can work for taking photos or recording videos in the main camera of phones However the zoom function will not be available???

I may be wrong on this, but you can infact change inception speed by going into the App, selecting settings while in camera mode, pressing the gimbal settings and scrolling down to ICP speed.

Hi Zdenka, i bought this setup for my S24 ultra (240 grams) with freewell 1.55x lens (140 grams) and its case (60 gram). It already tops the max. load. But i still need counterweights.
Did you run into this issue by any chance?

The Magnetic AI visionsensor is only used to film people. The sensor is useless for objects, correct? So, for those who want to use the gimbal to film landscapes, monuments, trees, animals, everything except people, we don't need the AI sensor, can you confirm?

I have an android galaxy s23 ultra and was hoping to get the most out of it's video capabilities but by the sounds of it the company have restricted the record quality for android.

This gimbal seems to fit my Xiaomi 14U phone as it's top heavy and can't be balanced with Hohem Isteady V3.

Thanks for the video. I bought one. It really appears to be designed primarily for video, not still photos. Example, if you want to take a series of photos in rapid succession it is not realistically capable, at least I have not figured out how. This is puzzling, I would think pulling the trigger button (or holding it down) would take photos rapidly.

BUTTON GUIDE
(press the buttons below for desired action)

POWER BUTTON:
⁃ Turning on the gimbal: 1x long press POWER

⁃ Standby mode: 2x short press POWER

M BUTTON:
⁃ Switching between gimbal modes: 1x short press M button.

Different modes:
• PF / Pan Follow: Tilt motor is locked. Gimbal moves sideways.
• PTF / Pan Tilt Follow: Movements to the sides + up & down
• L / Lock: Holds frame in same position. Motors are locked.
• POV: All motors unlocked. Dynamic movements.
• ICP / Inception mode: 3x short press M. Automatic spinning.

REMOTE:
⁃ Auto calibration: Place gimbal on flat surface and 5x short press M.

⁃ Pair remote: Turn on remote and 7x short press M.

⁃ Unpair remote: 9x short press M.

Remote guide:
• Move gimbal with arrow buttons
• Taking photo or start/stop REC: 1x press bottom left
(works also in standard camera app)
• Switching between photo/REC mode: 2x press bottom left
• Switching between front/rear cam: 3x press button left
(not possible during recording)
• Re-center gimbal: 2x press button right
• Enable ICP mode: 3x press button right
(disable, press 2x again)

Trigger guide:
• Fast motor reactions/Sports mode: press and hold
• Re-center gimbal: 2x short press
• 180 degree turn: 3x short press (filming yourself)
• Move motor out of the way: 4x short press (good for wide angle shots. Press 4x again for returning)
• Quick change to L/Lock mode: 2x short press and hold. Release trigger to go back.

REC BUTTON / shutter:
⁃ Start/stop REC: 1x press REC

⁃ Focus: half press REC

⁃ Switch between photo/video mode: 2x press REC

⁃ Switch between front/rear cam: 3x press REC

⁃ Zoom: Move little wheel around REC button up and down

CONTROL WHEEL:
⁃ Focus control: rotate wheel
(Press REC button half or tap on phone for returning to auto-focus)

⁃ Switch between focus/roll movement: 2x press center of wheel

AI SENSOR:
⁃ Enable tracking: 👌🏾
(Light is green if it works)

⁃ Disable tracking: ✋🏽
(Light goes red)

⁃ Re-position yourself in frame: 🙌🏽 (show L sign with fingers \_😎_/)
(Light blinks green until you show L sign again for locking your position)

CCT mode / Control light:
• Turn on light: Press and hold center button of control wheel
• Turn wheel for brightness
• Switching between brightness and color temperature: 1x press control wheel button
• Switching between RGB: 3x press control wheel button (control brightness: 1x press control)
• Control brightness: 1x press control (2x press for returning to focus control. 3x press to go back to light)
• Turn off light: 1x long press control

A/B BUTTON (timelapse)
Set frame and long press A. Move to desired end point and long press B.
Short press A or B to move to A or B.
When starting at point A, double press B for it to move to B, and vice versa.


Additional tips:
- For quick vertical shot, rotate gimbal sideways (hold like flashlight)
- Move gimbal with joystick or move phone manually with your hand and holding 2s to hold position (only possible up + down)

Is there a way to mount dji action cam 2 onto this gimbal ?

I have ordered an M6 for my google pixel 8 pro. This is my first time using a gimbal and I wanted to ask you a few things:

1. Could you suggest how a novice could check whether the gimbal itself has any defect. If it is not starting up then that is obvious but how to check if the motors are running ok and overall stability. Sometimes, the motors are making noise and getting heated up. How do we troubleshoot in these scenarios?

2. There have been reviews about the pan lock not working after 2-3 months of use. Is there anyway to delay that or handle it more carefully? Any tips on taking care of the gimbal?

3. For the crane or JIB type shot do we frame the final position and then use lock mode for it to work? Is there any other specific mode which helps to do that?

I've been using my gimball now for about a month, and I keep coming back to your video when in doubt on how to use the features. You did an amazing job with this video very easy to follow. I have one question, I have an iphone 14 pro and I can not find that coil cord that connects the iphone to the gimbal. Do you have any idea where I can get one of those?

Two more silly questions from my side.

1.When I am in lock mode the gimbal stays locked in its orientation in all three axis.

However, If I myself just turn around while holding the gimbal stationary, without trying to do pan movement,then the gimbal kind of moves along.

I hope that is expected behaviour as the gimbal triies to reposition itself.

2. When I try to move the gimbal on the roll axis it doesn't go the full distancd but instead changes orientation of phone from horizontal to vertical.

I hope this is normal behaviour.
