Reminds me of the time i didnt know i had splinters after hitting my knee on a piece of wood. A could days after the intial injury the area was red and hot and I showed my sister and she suggested i might have a small splinter. I cleaned the area and gave the hard spot a little squeeze and a 4 inch splinter came out. A couple days later it was still hurting and when i squeezed it again a couple half inch splinters came out again. I would have never guessed all that was inside me

You can tell if what i did is bad or how very bad this could have been. The last time i had a splinter in my thumb, i was trying to taking it out with tweezers and the splinter broke half off and was stuck under the skin it was so painful that i used a "sterilized" knife to make bigger cut and then took it out. i cleaned up the wound and got my instant relief.

If you have a splinter, it can have several consequences. The splinter can cause pain and possibly become inflamed or infected if you do not remove it. In some cases, the splinter can disappear on its own or can be easily removed with tweezers. If the splinter is deeper or you cannot remove it yourself, it is advisable to see a doctor Leaving a splinter in place can lead to inflammation, infection, or even blood poisoning. A splinter can create an opening in the skin where bacteria can enter, leading to inflammation. The inflammation can be painful and cause redness, swelling, warmth, and possibly pus. In some cases, the infection can even spread to other parts of the body.

I once stepped on a long, broken glass barefooted. After the glass shard pierced my skin, it snipped in half as if it refuses to let go of my foot

I didn't know at first that a glass shard lodged itself into my skin, but noticed that it hurts whenever i apply pressure to the injured foot. I was scared of blood or any gore stuff but the pain was so unbearable that due to my desperation I didn't notice I grabbed a nailcutter, searched deep into my injury and yanked the huge shard out of my foot myself

Only came to my senses after the area gushed more blood, but the relieve i felt seriously outweighed my fear

Isn't it amazing how our body and mind reacts synchronously when you are at risk of harm

Find JESUS CHRIST before its too late HE died for you and me and risen from dead on the 3 day. so you shall live and your price have to pay when JESUS CHRIST hadnt died for you. so repent today and accept that HE died for you and me and risen up from dead on the 3 day then JESUS CHRIST saves you from judgment find HIM before death arives.

In my fam we use SAFETY PINS to remove the splinter if it's too deep. Not very safe any more are they? ...I'll see myself out.

As a construction worker I’ve had plenty of splinters that I can’t get out. Luckily our body will reject them over time and will become almost like a pimple, just squeeze and it pops right out
