Trains at Cardiff Central - 1/10/24

Welcome back to another video from Spottersuk, in this video we’re at Cardiff Central on the South Wales Mainline.

In this video, you will see services from Transport for Wales, Great Western Railway and some freight as well. Service’s travel all over the UK with CrossCountry operating services to Nottingham via Birmingham New Street and Gloucester. GWR serves London Paddington, Carmarthen, Swansea and Portsmouth Harbour with TFW running all regional routes as well as services up to Manchester Piccadilly and also Holyhead to name a couple.

Cardiff Has a lot of variety between Sprinters including 150’s and 158’s top Class 800 ‘IET’s’ or even more traditional traction like class 67’s with DVT’s. They also have new class class 231’s and 197’s which operate for Transport for wales.
