I'm 16, and i started learning web development 3 months ago, HTML and CSS are now easy to work with....this year i'll focus more on expanding my Javascript capabilities.....the reason why i started learning how to code/web development...was because i haven't been going to school for 3 years now. Due to financial problems, so i'm hoping that in a few months i could get a job as a web dev although i'm not sure if that is even possible since i'm only 16
ОтветитьWell. Thank you for you motivative video, but y'all need to face to reality. There are so many web developers with degrees and experiences in the world and USA. That means the job market is over saturated. Even experienced developers got laid off letely. Thus, the AI helps a lot of things and makes a job easier. That being said, it will be so hard to find a junior positions and more competitions.
Searching jr. Web developer job openings in your area and how many job openings do you see? Well, It depends on where you live, of course. My point is quilification. They are expecting a degree with practical experiences for a jr. Position. I didn't want to discourage anyone, but it is what it is....
what is the best way to learn css
Ответитьplease stop making this kind of video
ОтветитьIt breaks 😮😢 me up everytime how there's people living in their cars working 3 jobs yet America is the richest damn country in the world 😡💢, i don't wish it for anyone to experience poverty.
ОтветитьInspiring!
Are you a front end, back end or full stack developer?
I'll be back to this comment. The journey begins now.
ОтветитьI wouldn’t bother with coding, it looks cool but essentially you are fighting to fix bugs for a huge corporate company that can replace you within one hour. They say family this and family that yet they treat you like an outcast when you need time off or don’t deliver.
ОтветитьI get what you're saying, but on the other side of the coin, you went through everything you went through and look how successful you are now. sure, looking back I'm sure you see some mistakes you may have made, but it still brought you to this point today.
ОтветитьI love you motivator man. That's the only reason I've started to learn it and hope to land a job within a year. Thank you for the constant videos !!!
ОтветитьI need context before i can go past the intro bc the story is fishy. How tf you have 3 jobs, living in your car , and STILL can’t “make ends meet”.
Wtf were you buying with the money bro? What vice? What addiction?
Love this. Thanks again. Blessings!
ОтветитьBro, when you said “I failed at being a nurse” I felt that, It also made me laugh being Filipino lol
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts on joining a startup company?
ОтветитьGood to see an insight on your journey. Great video!
ОтветитьHi Chris, this year you uploaded a video about your family that you supported their lifestyle of for years right? I can’t find it and I really want to show it to my gf because she’s doing the same and thinks she has to do it.
ОтветитьWhat projects do you recommend a front end? Developer to build to get the first job and what about a résumé?
ОтветитьHow many times?
ОтветитьCan you tutor
ОтветитьId love for you to do a review on DEV10 - basically what its a 4 month program, after that they get you a Job and you pat x% over 2 years of the contract. My cousin did it and got hired on
ОтветитьEverything is relative. I'm a web dev looking for a new job (redundancy) and feel I need way more knowlwdge than what I have. Testing, CI/CD, serverless... Having more strings to one's bow is essential, but in that sense I'll never be satisfied no matter where I'm at in my career.
ОтветитьHey guys, in a crappy situation and would love some advice. In 18 days I will have been job hunting for two years in the data analytics/science and ML fields. I'm 27 now and miserable, stuck in my parents house. I'm so tired, and I feel like at some point I will have to give up and try something else. I think my main thought/question is at what point would you give up - or should I? All I really want is to move out of my parents house.
I have the relevant background too, MSc in math, did a bootcamp. On my resume I have 2 years of experience from technically my own company, but I just list myself as a data scientist employee there (make no money of course - mostly failed endeavors). Apparently my local university has a masters in applied computer science where they basically just hand you an internship, so that's an option - but I also hate the thought of going back to school.
I feel you on the grind of job hunting I did construction for over a decade, now I’m hurt for the rest of my life my back has huge issues not enough for surgery but I have a lot to take care of for that recovery process but your videos and advice that has been my second chance for opportunity in life
ОтветитьBro you inspired me to get in web dev and I’m on my school journey but maybe when I get the skills and certifications we can collaborate or if you have positions open we can work together
ОтветитьDo have anything for learning and mental health depression anxiety adhd ?
ОтветитьAwesome video.
I am currently learning Coding, and I go to the library to focus on HTML/CSS.
I am glad you encourage people to go to the library to learn and practice Coding and to build a portfolio.
Trying to do this with a full time job is absolutely gruelling. Not to mention now there are a lot more requirements for front end devs now than there were 3 years ago. There's also the enormous lay-offs which has everyone who has far more experience under their belt competing for these jobs, and without a degree like many others do. It feels hopeless trying to become a web dev nowadays, keeping up the motivation is tough.
ОтветитьHow can you get through an interview with just 3 months learning something ? I spent 1year learning game development and then i got hit by some of the crazy hard questions on my 1st interview 🤣
ОтветитьData job market is rough . Can somebody tell me how long we have to go through this bad job market
ОтветитьYo how can you not make ends meet with 3 jobs
ОтветитьYou helped me with my career goals. Back in 2021 I was lost and didn’t not know where to start and I lost everything. I watched your videos and it motivated me to try with coding, fast forward to now. After securing a developer role at bestbuy and now a developer in a small telecom company, you truly helped me move forward . Thank you Chris for giving me hope!
ОтветитьI'm currently studying code as well via ztom. And you are my inspiration. para maparetire ko parents ko. salamat bro
ОтветитьThis is me bro for right now in same position you even had job I don’t have any job. Although I’m trying to learn coding thank you for understanding us!
ОтветитьChris, you’re a true inspiration, love you bro!!
ОтветитьAt last your coming with a site Daam can’t wait, hope it’s not too expensive
ОтветитьHey Chris, how relevant is it to have an internship? Is it needed or extremely important to get your first web dev job?
ОтветитьI am a UX/UI designer and the job market has been super rough , I decided to stand out I would design to code. There are days i have all the motivation and there are days I just ask myself " what is the point ? "but I jump right back and keep pushing !
ОтветитьThis year I decided to take control of my life and got a job as a developer. The job is hard but I'm going to do my best effort to keep going
ОтветитьI really don't want to quit because of my kids and myself. but is so hard I'm just thinking about what the best decision is if go to college and take an associate in computer programing & information science or go the self-taught/bootcamp road, the market is so hard that I feel is better to take my associate then trying to get an entry job and keep going to the computer science bachelor but I feel it would take me so long I'm 28 and feel like I'm all ready too late :(
ОтветитьI would love to see videos interviewing recruiters/ hiring managers
Ответить@Chris Sean Can you do a video on GovTech? (Government tech jobs)
Ответитьwelp, i gave up after a month but, this exposure lead me to get a job as a social media manager lol
ОтветитьWe all go into the same test brother we have to keep the faith❤️
Ответить
