Peak Design Everyday Sling: Setup + Tips

Sent mine 3L back, openings are very difficult to access. I was concerned of scratching my camera and lenses when putting them in this bag. Even the other pockets felt very inaccessible. I`ll go back to my old canvas domke style bag that i`ve used for 25 years.

So here's the thing - I'm off on a holiday and looking to purchase an EDC to hold various small items including a Fujifilm X100V, small water bottle, and glasses. I purchased the Bellroy Venture Sling 6L and think it looks great but is a bit smaller than I imagined tbh considering the 6L size mark. For example, the Peak Design Everyday Sling 3L camera bag - yes 3L - (superbly made also) has almost the EXACT same dimensions, looks able to store pretty much exactly the same amount of items and is extremely well crafted with comparable weather resistance etc - BUT quite a bit cheaper. Why is the Bellroy so much more expensive and named 6L, when the Peak Design of the same size is 3L ??????? Is there something odd going on???

I got the 3 litre and can just squeeze in my ZVE1 with 16-35 Sony Zeiss lens, my Tamron 28-75 zoom and my Sony 24mm but it is a tight fit.

does the 3L front pocket fits an iPhone pro max ?

I have the (old - everyday Sling) 5L Peak Design Sling. Compared to the knewer 3L it looks the same size. So upgrading to 6 Liter from 5L seems more the actual only on Liter? Charming and informative presentation by the way.

I'm wondering how this works as a fanny pack....I know they talk about it, but I haven't seen a good example.

8.20. flipping the strap instructions in 3 seconds don't make any sense to me. How to remove if from the strap adjustment points ? I thought that what she was demonstrating next, watched it five times but she kept the bag on the same shoulder...

Not impressed with the design and quite frankly seems useless clipping your camera to the outside of the bag just waiting to bank it against someone or something. It looks non attractive especially with a tripod on the bottom and a camera hanging on the outside. Even less impressed with Zona's presentation, just a goofy presentation IMHO.

Can I put the Sling bag 3L or 6L in a Everyday bag v2?

Thank you, I got the 3L and I just realised how to propoerly use the divider and found out that I can carry not just 1 but 2 extra lenses on top of my camera and its mounted lens. The bag is great !

Loosening is easy, but tightening is super hard. I have to pull hard to tighten it. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I'm doling it like Zona, so...Zona rocks by the way.

They look to be good bags but the presentationis for an 8 year old and might tend to put some folk off buying.

Love the bag and really love this video!

I tested it in a store a few days ago. It is nice and the padded area on the strap is comfortable but it's not possible to easy move the padded area to use it on the left side, right side, more to the back more to the side quickly. Sure you can adjust the lenghts on the left and right from the padding but that's rather difficult and there is small amount of leeway. Therefore, I am still hesitating to buy and still looking for alternatives...

any solution for men? :D
