Armin not acknowledging erens mass genocide could explain why he didn't pull the trigger when facing the jaegerists. He didn't directly oppose their goal, he just wanted to talk to eren again. This could also explain why armin told Annie that he's not a good person. People seem to have misinterpreted armin as this righteous savior when that was never his goal.

Just wanted to say that the rumbling was a reference to the great flood( from the bible) which is ment to destroy all the livings (cuz they did bad things etc.) but few and give the world a fresh start. Noah sent a white bird to tell if the flood is over and it became a symbol of peace and freedom (U can search up the full story for more details haha). Anyway that’s why the bird represents Eren .

It's interesting.. so chapter 139 explains Eren's true goal: to free Ymir. That fits well, since breaking the curse of Ymir will end all Titans, which aligns with Eren's goal since the beginning... This is why he must do these horrible things so that Mikasa will come to the realization that she must kill Eren, which is ultimately what breaks the curse of Ymir.

That begs the question though, would Zeke's sterilization plan have the same effect? Presumably the Titans would no longer exist since subjects of Ymir would no longer exist... However Ymir would never have been freed. Not sure what would have happened to Ymir, maybe trapped in Coordinate forever?

One thing that irritated me was the comparison to LeLouch. Eren wiped out 80% of the world including animals like the poor giraffes running away (envision all the koalas and tiger cubs dying). Plus he openly admits had he not been stopped a huge part of him just wanted to level the world. LeLouch sacrificed himself fully for everyone. Isayama cites Watchmen as an inspiration and Eren is wayyyy more of an Ozymandias (just not a genius and also Ozymandias kept himself alive bc of his narcissism)
