How is this fun? Watching a CGI reenactment of something we all saw at Mania? If I’m gonna buy a game, I want to play the game, not watch a bunch of cutscenes.

These games try too hard to look and feel realistic IMO. The gameplay should be fast paced and fun. Graphically it shouldn’t try and take itself so seriously because the more realistic it looks, the more noticeable the imperfections become, and the more canned the animations look.

The perfect wrestling game to me wouldn’t be quite as over the top as All-Stars, but much more arcade-like than 2K.

I wish WWE would recruit a different developer to create an arcade style legends game. Let people have their 2K wrestling sim with its creation suite and the deep modes some people crave. And then give the rest of us an alternative option, centered around fun gameplay and a legend-centric roster with classic venues. Make it bright and colorful, fast and fun, so you can pick up and play with anyone. Like a new age spin on some of the greatest games: combining No Mercy, HCTP and Wrestlemania The Arcade Game littered with nostalgia. I imagine something as fun and accessible as Smash Brothers but with a wrestling twist.

They still haven’t updated the commentary team game seems nice tho
