It looks like the US Navy stopped bombing Yemen so that they could focus on their air strikes on Somalia. It never ends.

The US has been using 4th/4.5th gen fighters predominantly, we have to wait for the F-35 blk 4 update.

Amazing that Yemen - despite its high poverty and myriad problems - still opposes the might of U.S. and Israeli military in order to oppose genocide. Meanwhile, other Arab nations and Europe hide behind platitudes and allow the slaughter in Gaza to continue.

Not only we look like idiots and fools being defeated practically, but also the damage to the carrier was significant! There was a giant hole in the carrier frame that was open by the fall of these aircraft into the sea. The carrier will be out of commission for years! This is how fragile and vulnerable our navy is! USA cannot achieve military or political objective using conventional weapons. Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Vietnam, and Ukraine are recent examples. USA has a tenuous hold on Libya, Somalia, and Sudan. USA is obsessed with maintaining its hegemony and military Supremacy. USA will ultimately resort to nuke threat and even the use of a small nuke when conventional weapons fail to persuade an adversary nation.

Apparently, the biggest surprise was just how close Yemen came to hitting a US F35 with a SAM ,by all accounts it was the skill of the pilot that saved the plane.
