ОтветитьShithouse to give yourself for your country and your governing powers ask you to defend there lies.
ОтветитьThe ironic part was he picked to be a radio operator because he perceived it as not dangerous, but if he was in the Vietnam War he would be the biggest target on the battlefield
ОтветитьI knew he was from Bmore the first sentence
Ответитьbro do every Marine end up with these thick ass beards?
ОтветитьWe had a pillow party on this guy who was 35ish at the time ... he kept telling on us for selling cigarettes and dip , i got my ass smoked off a couple times ...the DS basically said fix your own problems, the 3rd time he told , we went after his ass that night, dude never got out of his bunk for PT after PT and mess hall , went back to the barracks , his bunk and wall locker was empty
ОтветитьWe were friends before we had facial hair... now as men, he one of the one I respect the most. Salute to my brother Dee Golden for telling his story !

Nothing Shines Brighter than a Proud United States Marine !
He’s an amazing story teller. His transparency is admirable. These are our heroes. 22 a day is 22 too many.
ОтветитьI wished I would have went to college after graduation but 2 months after I graduated I joined the ARMY
ОтветитьThat's why I got out of the ARMY I WASN'T GONNA GO BACK TO THE BIG KITTY LITTER BOX
ОтветитьNon military people don't get nor understand what combat veterans went through or struggle every day when they return home.... PTSD never goes away and there isn't any medicine that helps either
ОтветитьI hated the C130
ОтветитьI call it THE BIG KITTY LITTER BOX
ОтветитьThe wimpy guy under the bunk went Ted Nuggent and pooped his pants and got out.
ОтветитьThis was the best interview I've ever listened to.
ОтветитьAmen - Our Nation needs a growth of Men of which you are One...
ОтветитьI made a mistake and skipped the first 3 minutes soon as I heard him talking I knew he was from the hometown.

Ответитьwow, its crazy how i can leave Baltimore but my ear still picks up IMMEDIATELY if someone is from Baltimore, especially West. Makes me miss home.
ОтветитьI thank you for this video! My son enlisted and is graduating from USMC boot camp next week and as a mother, I am always scared of that WHAT IF…
I will be saving this video and also sending it to him so he can listen very closely as to this gentleman’s experience. Thank you sir for your service🫡 and I pray your mental is much better than what it was!🙏🏾🙏🏾
This man makes me feel off. Something about him seems deceptive, he talks like a con man.

ОтветитьMy guy just retired after 23 years in the Marines, and the stories are insane!!! He obtained his CDL and now drives ammo trucks. He said he couldn't wait to leave the military but went right back to work for them so I'm inclined to believe there was something about the life he had to enjoy.

ОтветитьI’m 18 minutes and I found myself hoping this was a two hour video. Glad to realize I get to hear this man for 90+ minutes. Amazing story so far and am so thankful for your service, sir.
ОтветитьThank u for your service sir. It’s critical these vets get to tell their stories. To know it’s alright to be open/vulnerable n that it doesn’t equate to weakness but seen as a strength & in doing so u can heal n teach n inspire others to do also ❤️
ОтветитьWest Baltimore!!!!!🫡
ОтветитьWhat a great life story and great storyteller. Thank you for giving him this platform to share his moving story. ❤
ОтветитьTuff story brother, that had to be a surreal moment when you enlisted before 9/11 and then on the night of September 10th you wake up to see your life would change. Semper Fi.
ОтветитьWow, I’m a Marine from Baltimore. Surprisingly didn’t peep the accent when I clicked the video. But yes, as Primm (also from
Bmore) says “Everyone faces peer pressure, but the things to get into in the hood can come with life altering consequences”. Everyone in Baltimore is presented with a choice. Thankfully the opportunity to pursue some of the more negative things didn’t match up with the context of my situations at the time. Failed at trying to be a dealer only for my cousin to tell me years later that if he had known I was trying to trap that he could’ve set me up nicely and took care of me. Maybe it worked out for the best. Because what if I started making money and got sucked into it. Would I be here now??!
It’s such a refreshing perspective when you hear from someone like this man. A lot of people look at special forces And what have you as What gets us through a campaign or war. This Young men should be idolized as much as anybody. Nobody can do their jobs without them and they are heroes.
ОтветитьThank you. Your story is very inspiring. Very well, rounded young man
ОтветитьAn abundance of gratitude and respect soldier, much more also that is strong widespread throughout these lands than you could possibly realize. Please post more we would love to hear from you
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьSemper Fi. I was one of the first to do the Crucible in 97. Comm Tech 2847. 10 months in Comm School, H&S 3/6 and 22nd MEU. Eventually, I went to Fallujah in 06-07 with CLB 1. Your story reminds us all who we are.
ОтветитьThank you For your Service Thank you For Sharing Your Story
ОтветитьI’m from Baltimore and I know the area he’s speaking of intimately. I use to cop right on those corners and sling on a different corner on the other side of town. Amazing this man made it out and served his country in such a great way
ОтветитьYou said it bro. Every Marine is a rifleman. I was not a combat arms Marine myself & never faced anything like you did. You have my utmost respect as do any Marines or soldier's that have served in combat. Thanks for getting it done when called on. God bless you & your family sir & Semper Fi brother.
GySgt, Retired
Damn, the delivery of his voice would make him the perfect speaker for an audio book
ОтветитьI hope the younger generation is ready bc shit is about to get real.
ОтветитьHave alot of respect for you young man...
ОтветитьSup Doug park Heights stand up
