So Michael Burry was lucky once. With Trump and the DOGE team, the potential financial crash will be as bad. We will see a revaluation of the US dollar and a return of the gold standard. China clearly is not doing well.

The US market is overvalued and is overdue for a correction but people have been predicted this "correction" for years

The market is full of "S&P 500 only goes up" koolaid drinkers. Even a 40% pullback would be completely healthy and reasonable but will probably not happen without an actually shocking black swan event. Every dip gets bought and pumped up to new ATH.

I remember this time last year many YT videos were predicting a market crash in 2024. How many people have missed out on 20%+ gains as a result of such speculation. No one knows what markets will do.

BABA is actually trading at 10 X eps, not 17. They also hold a lot of equities, which make their stock even cheaper

I agree there are cracks in the US market. I just don't see the value in the Chinese market. China has a demographic catastrophe right now and it will only continue to get worse for the next decade. Factories are leaving China and moving to Vietnam, Indonesia, countries which actually have young people. If the China strategy is just hunting for a short term bump due to government stimulus then okay yeah I can get on board with that. But I don't see real value there.

If and when the market does crash, back up the truck, people.

The stock market and the economy are not the same. The market is an auction. Sometimes people bid without any clue of what they are doing, they buy to compete against other buyers.

If not for yourself think of your heirs and get out of stocks pronto while they still can inherit substantial sums of money.
