Can you name those towns again you visited? We are going to Nice, Cannes and Saint Tropez in two months and I want to explore outside those towns
ОтветитьLoved the "Ann-tee-bez" bit. try pronouncing Antibes as "On-Teeb", John
:)
I liked the video but it was a bit confusing. You only mentioned Villefranche-sur-Mer throughout the video, even in the beginning. Yet you repeatedly mentioned the adventure, long walk to that town, so how could you be in it? It appears that you docked in Beaulieu-sur-mer and that the initial walk, pastry shop are all in Beaulieu-sur-mer. Only in the text above is Beaulieu-sur-mer. Actually looked more beautiful than Villefranche.
ОтветитьEverything was amazing. Your adventures just boggle me. Although, I'm not sure I'd use sea water. Fish poop in it.
ОтветитьGreat video! I even noticed in the first scene, you had your voice coming out of the left channel and John out of the right. Assuming, of course, Kristina does all the editing…lol
ОтветитьThat food looks amazing and so do the views
ОтветитьThat French patisserie looked awesome - my mouth is still watering. Onya guys😊
ОтветитьI love these episodes !!!!
ОтветитьMy wife and I are staying in Nice 1st week in September and have already planned to visit Menton, Monaco, Eze and Villefrench sur mer......
I sooooo love french bakery goodies. Please tell me the name and town the bakery in this video is in because my holiday wont be complete if i don't pig 🐖 out there?
Fantastic episode as usual. You would be amazed how many people travel with their stomach's or is that just us 😂😂
You keep upping the game each episode also nice fun facts about aviation from John
Are you kidding? Villefranche-sur-Mer is a very well known tourist destination. The cruise ships dock here!
ОтветитьVillefranche is pronounced Villefransh
ОтветитьFun fact Robert Deniro starred in the movie Ronin which was filmed there. Tina Turner villa is there on top of the hill. By far my favorite beach because of water clarity, temp, and the pebbles are not that bad. Cap ferrat was pretty nice too.
ОтветитьThe British actor David Niven lived in the area for years. I’m told his house is still there.
ОтветитьThx so much for showing us a bit of "Villa". My long deseased darling husband spent a year here in the late 1960's and he fell in love with it and spoke of it often. He was special forces Navy. After a year he was given orders to go to the hell of Vietnam. This brings back memories of so many wonderful conversations. Thx again and safe travels. Peace and love.
ОтветитьAnother excellent episode! Thanks for taking us along on your adventure!!
ОтветитьLol, Mer is pronounced Mare, not like myrrh
ОтветитьYou should go and visit Antibes. The Antibes Old Town is something amazing!
ОтветитьGood video awful pronunciation of towns VSM Menton and St Tropez and not sure if you tried to say Beaulieu-sur-Mer and the rest but am sure you were always wrong 😂
ОтветитьI do agree with you Viilfrance -sir-mer is certainly memorable….so until your next stop ….Thanks for sharing and enjoy your endeavours…..Alex🇬🇷
ОтветитьIf its not too late make a stop off here in St RAPHAEL? lot cheaper than st tropez
ОтветитьNot a secret - too many Noth Americans go home.
ОтветитьI can’t get over Jason is so young he’s never seen a Mini Moke before.😂 He can by one here Is Brisbane for $35K. This is an amazing exposé of the French Riverine.
ОтветитьVillefranche really is a beauty!
I can recommend going out to Cap Ferrat on the peninsula between Bealieu-sur-Mer and Villefranche-sur-Mer. Supernice village and awesome beaches in the bays.
Hope you like Antibes! It's pronounced "Antib". The "es" is silent. :)
I can’t believe I missed you guys! I own a boat in Saint Jean Cap-Ferrat which is on the peninsula you walked through to get to villefranche!
Glad you guys enjoyed it! One of my favourite spots in the world
Great tv . 95% are looking at the flittigt Kristina In bathing suit .
Is she also making OF ?
Livin life, am so jealous 🤤🤤
ОтветитьThanks for the video, love the atmosphere.
ОтветитьOlivula is the best restaurant on that street by the water.
ОтветитьIf it is hidden and you appreciate the authenticity of a place not ruined by mass tourism maybe publicizing it is not correct on your side.
ОтветитьAhoy mates! Well you have done it again another place I have to visit. What wonderful bakeries. The town really is beautiful and looks like a postcard setting. Thanks for taking me along! Peace.
ОтветитьHey Kristina! are you looking for a video editor for high-quality edits? let me know, if you’re interested.
ОтветитьI like Antibes and Juan les Pines. Colours in Menton are fantastic, so fun to find places like Eze too. C'est chic
Ответитьbrokies
ОтветитьAnother great episode & that bakery looked amazing. I have a question for John. With John's intermittent work schedule, & refreshing skills. I gather does a lot of flying in the right seat, But does John ever fly left seat?
ОтветитьSo funny to see my boat so many times in your video, should I ask for royalties? 🤣⛵️ Glad that you enjoyed Villefranche 😊
ОтветитьI come from this area.
Pretty cool :)
Villefranche-sur-mere is indeed a wonderful place. Changed a bit since the late '90's though and not that much. Strange, but loved it back then and seeing this I need to get back there in the near future. We also stayed a bit further on your route in Agay. That's also a small bay near Saint-Raphael. Went there a few times and it's also great. Pretty locations. Frejus Is also amazing.
ОтветитьWow another captivating episode Kristina, well Done!!!
ОтветитьWhy don't you show names of places, an example pastry shop.
ОтветитьWhich marina were you in?
ОтветитьWhich bakery did you visit?
ОтветитьThanks for the video from Nice and Éze and this one from Villefranche Sur Mer. The view from the old castle on Mont Boron is the best over the bay. I have more tips for hidden villages that are real gems around the area. I often take my car or bike to Villefranche for lunch on my fauvorite little restaurant on the square. I live in Nice during the winter since 2019 and the town has so much more to offer than just being a tourist spot. If you come back to visit, do not miss Roquebrune just above Monaco and also a couple of small villages above Menton, Gorbio and Saint Jeannet. Further up from the well known tourist trap of Saint Paul de Vence you will find Tourettes Sur Loup and Gourdon perched up on a cliff with a view to die for over the whole eastern Riviera. I still find new hidden gems as I get to know people down there. The French riviera is my place to be in Europe in the winter. Mild weather, few tourists, excellent food and culture and beautiful architecture. Expensive, yes, but as long as I can afford it, I will stay....
ОтветитьHidden Gem? The most well known location(s) in the entire Mediterranean. At least for Europeans.
ОтветитьThis will be my base next June. I've never been to south of France and I wanted to stay somewhere most do not. So I'm looking forward to ville France su mer
What's the name of the bakery?
🙏🏻⛵🐬👰🏻🤵🏻...
🚴🏻♂
I'm confused the marina was in Beaulieu Sur Mer. The marina in Villefranche has a dry dock that is not to be missed.
