They basically making up problems for AI to solve that don’t exist.

Also the AI mode is basically what copilot been doing for a couple of years.

I use copilot a lot. I use it in place of Google, because one Google tracks you and their entire business model is selling your information to 3rd parties. Microsoft relies software and cloud computing sales and subscriptions.

If you know what questions to ask an AI chatbot, it really does save a lot of time VS a traditional Google Search. It just requires a critical thinker to filter out the weird results. I notice copilot (based on ChatGPT) scrubs data on sources that may include opinions rather than facts. Then you follow up by asking the AI to only include verified scientific research for example, and it will return better more trustworthy results.

At this point, Apple needs new blood in the AI AND MANAGEMENT teams. Shake things up like Steve Jobs would. The stagnation of several Apple departments is noticeable worldwide and deafening.

That crap is all well and good but it still doesn’t allow you send a WhatsApp via voice when navigating with google maps 😂

As a power ai user, and both a Gemini and chatgpt user, i basically end up using ai for anything that requires tons of tokens and "Intelligence" and chatgpt for anything "personal" and "humanlike".
As a Google power user i sooo want gemini to be more like chatgpt so i can stop using and paying for two services. But chatgpt is incapable of doing intelligent work, and gemini is to stiff and controlled to be useful as an assistant....

I really really hope these updates can change that. ❤️🤩

When you think about it, this presentation was more for the investors than it was for the consumers.

I don't see the quality of search getting better (probably by design), I see the quality of data gathering getting better for advertisers and government intelligence agencies.

When compared to other AI models, Google offers а lot more free features, so users should be appreciative of that.

My question: Why can't modern displays adjust to my personal eyesight?
eg: I wear corrective glasses, and need them to see..BUT WHY isn't there an option within the display to adjust itself to my prescription?... this way I won't need my glasses to watch stuff.🙈
