How much to get started and how many shares to 2k a month?

I've never been a dividend investor since in my situation, I don't think they are as tax efficient as growth ETFs (SPY, QQQ, VTI) where I can get better returns and can control the distributions better but I appreciate you sharing your perspective since it seems to be working for you and it got me looking more into qualified dividends since this is something that I'm not too familiar with. I might look to add or rebalance into dividend ETFs such as SCHD (often recommended dividend ETF) as we get close to our retirement age. Great conversation and thanks again for sharing.

Love the topic: minimalism definitely can reduce stress. The burden of stuff is real. Fewer things can mean fewer things to break and less to worry about. Have you considered etfs that use covered call strategies? They reflect the nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 etc, and pay a much higher dividend than your current holdings (usually monthly)?
