Castle would've liked to meet Beckett's mother and she would've been glad of them getting together,even though Castle has a daughter from his 1st marriage to Meredith.

I remember when I saw this scene for the first time. I was with my family in Tennessee for vacation and we came across this episode. When Castle answers the door to Beckett, I thought there was going to be a heated argument on why Castle did not help Beckett or answered her calls on the cell phone. Turns out, Beckett wanted Castle for love and my heart was pounding like wild.

The one person who pressed the "thumbs down" button has no taste in romance.

Stana is magnificent... any man would be lucky to have a woman look at him like that even once in his life. Stana bringing that to life is Grade A acting (and a fierce student of life moment).

Even if Beckett was crying when she came to Castle's apartment all wet to tell him that she wants him after she was nearly killed earlier by the man who shot her a year earlier, she still would give Castle a big kiss while Castle's family was out.
