Idk why a tear fell from my left eye (detailed haha) when you were explaining the meaning of your tattoo, it just made an impact on me. I was raised in a Catholic institution but never did my teachers shared these kinds of thoughts. So thank you for sharing yours. Skl I joined a Bible contest last August I think, and I am so grateful for that opportunity coz I really learned a lot and we bagged 2nd (I was so shocked coz I only got a few weeks to prepare and it was my first time) Such a great experience.

This is a deep conversation but to believe in Christ is to believe in the spiritual realm as we know God is “supernatural” omnipresent and all knowing, the depth of spiritual warfare is not being taught as it should, though this world is highly demonic (as the Bible says Satan is God of this world) tattoos come from a type of ritualistic blood sacrifice, hence why you bleed blood to get the tattoo, whatever tattoo you were getting was to bind yourself to whatever the tattoo symbolizes(a group/cult etc). Calling it Christian( or getting a cross/scripture or in your case crown) doesn’t make it of God or holy, you can’t just dismiss what the Bible says about no cutting or marking your flesh. It’s pagan and God makes it clear he does not want us to act toward him the way pagans act towards their “God’s”.
Again, we should not divide over it as you say, but trying to help each other is important in Christ.
Jesus did come to fulfill the law and for grace, certain things like not following sabbath, or eating pork etc are not to divide over but tattoo isn’t as dismissible because their is WAY MORE to the meaning of that VS. sabbath / eating & other small things.
You should look into the history of this, I repent for getting mine when I did and I promise you, it opens doors for the enemy which is why God told us not to get any markings on our body, it’s a form of cutting, this world now glorifies everything God tells us not to do. We aren’t supposed to be in the world nor look like the world , though you are a brother in Christ, you have a platform and should be careful what you present while claiming Christ, the Holy Spirit would never tell you to get a tattoo. He doesn’t cause confusion nor does he contradict what he says. Peace and love brother.. pray on this please.

I actually am contemplating about getting a tattoo, something that is really special and meaningful. I'm planning to go to Buscalan and ask Apo to ink me so that it will somehow integrate my desire for adventure. Another is the baybayin characters for Lalaban plus the three dot(sign tattoo) connected with the prayer tribal tattoo of buscalan. I just want to remind myself that I will continuously fight despite of the circumstances through the means of prayer.

Thank you kuya Nate for this.. I have been struggling for how many years now regarding tattoos and if it's okay to get one. By the way, ok lng kaya kay Lord to get a tattoo for the reason that I have a 15yrs old scar that caused me deep insecurities in my 30 yrs of existence? 😅 because of this big scar in my right leg, I can't wear shorts even when we go swimming because I might afraid that people will judge me (like, ewww wearing shorts kahit ang laki ng peklat!). Huhuhu! Minsan, hnd na lng ako naliligo lalo na pag may araw pa kahit gustong gusto ko naman maligo. And thank God, nauso na ngaun yong swim wear na cover lahat ng katawan (parang scuba lang ang peg 😂) kaya nakakaswim na kahit papaano. 😂 wla lng tlaga akong confidence to wear shorts kahit sa pagligo lang dahil sa scar ko. Hindi naman ako nangangarap mag two-piece (coz once again, our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and its not for show off thingy). Please help me... 🙏 thank you po.

When you get inked, you actually give LIFE to your tattoo. When a needle is pierced to your skin, you bleed. And in the spiritual world blood symbolizes life, even in the bible it was told in genesis. That's why in most culture and occult, tattoo is significant because you give life to it. You subconsciously activate an aspect of your life and you wear it as your identity. Also its placement also has a meaning. So be careful on what you get tattoed on your body.
