Ответитьmy hearts been broken so i’ll dine with crowley in my truck and drink strong hard vodka
ОтветитьI come to hear this song after knowing taehyung's caller tune 💜🎧
ОтветитьI'm here because of Taehyung's call tune
ОтветитьBecause of taehyung, I come suddenly to search this song and listen it.
ОтветитьI love that everyone's now here because of Good Omens ❤😭
ОтветитьSeason 1: Indeed there is a nightingale singing when the two angels dining at the Ritz
Season 2
Crowley: Do you hear that?
Aziraphale: I don't hear anything.
Crowley: No nightingale. You idiot, we could have been...us.
You younger fans are too young to appreciate the true background of these wartime songs - the Second World War, not the first.
ОтветитьI feel so bad for Crowley, the amount of times he got rejected, he just wants to be with Aziraphale 😭
Ответитьsurely i'm not about to sing?
ОтветитьGood omens
ОтветитьAll the good omens references were something i wasn't prepared for as someone who hasn't watched good omens yet.
ОтветитьLove the fact that the comments are filled with go fans. This show really is something, huh
ОтветитьI prefer this music by Nat King Cole
ОтветитьAfter you've watched good omens this song just HITS different.
Ответить"No nightingale"😢😭
ОтветитьHear me out, the nightingale sang but only crowley could hear it, because his angel was too busy listening to The Metatron, completely ignoring the birdie and his ex-lover's heart. (you're welcome, i'm tearing too)
Ответитьneil gaiman? I only want to talk…
ОтветитьYou hear that?
ОтветитьThe Nightingale isn’t singing anymore, it’s been shot dead by Aziraphale.
Ответить....im just here because of circa survive/Anthony green....
ОтветитьHad a day out in London... 1st time in over 50 years....Buck house ... The Mall....The Ritz....Trafalgar Square... Piccadilly ... Carnaby St ... found a really good pub there... Houses of Parliament...1st thought ... Perfumo Affair 😜.... Tower Bridge...Tower of London .... S.O.E building in Baker St ....The War Rooms just off Horse Guards ...I am very interested in Modern London history especially the 1960s and WW 2...but the MUST SEE place ... And the Nightingale sang in Barclay Square ....even sang it to myself in my head 😊I could even hear Vera singing it !!!!! Nostalgia eh ?????Even in modern times I could still feel the history in The Square Mile
Ответить"I forgive you"
Ответить"you hear that?"
"hear what?"
"no nightingales."
"Hear that?"
"I don't hear anything!"
"Thats my point. No nightingales."
So beautiful
ОтветитьPrefer Mark Corrigan's version personally
ОтветитьGuy Mitchell used to sing this
Ответить시즌2를 끝내고 죽고 싶어졌음. 나이팅게일을 돌려내
ОтветитьThis song might end up making Good omens fans cry and I'm not even kidding. 🫠
Ответитьas a good omens fan who did not know SOMEHOW that one of my favorite older musical artists was the original maker of this song is just.
AHHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-
This woman and this song had a life before Good Omens . . . Just sayin
She kept the hearts of the entire UK alive during WW2 with songs like this and that wonderful voice. An amazing feat! Bless her memory
I know we all know why we're here
ОтветитьYou hear that? Nothing. The nightingales aren't singing anymore.
ОтветитьThat certain night
The night we met
There was magic abroad in the air
There were angels dining at the Ritz
And a nightingale sang in Berkeley Square
I may be right, I may be wrong
But I'm perfectly willing to swear
That when you turned and smiled at me
A nightingale sang in Berkeley Square
The moon that lingered over London town
Poor puzzled moon, wore such a frown
How could he know we two were so in love
The whole darn world seemed upside down
The streets of town were paved with stars
It was such a romantic affair
And when you turned and smiled at me
A nightingale sang in Berkeley Square
How strange it was
How sweet and strange
There was never a dream to compare
What that hazy, crazy night we met
When a nightingale sang in Berkeley Square
Ah, this heart of mine beat loud and fast
Like a merry go round in a fair
And we were dancing cheek to cheek
When a nightingale sang in Berkeley Square
When dawn came stealing up
All gold and blue
To interrupt our rendezvous
I still remember when you smiled and said
Was that a dream or was it true?
Our homeward steps were just as light
As the dancing feet of Astaire
And like an echo far away
A nightingale sang in Berk-
That night in Berkeley
That night in Berkeley Square
I'm here for the song. :)
ОтветитьOne of my dad’s favourites ,I can’t hear this song without thinking about him.. miss you dad.xx
ОтветитьI met a woman during my 2-week business trip and one evening I took her out to dinner to a fancy restaurant that had live jazzy music. We slow danced to this version of the song. I never saw her again but every time I hear this song, I think of that moment we danced and the wonderful time we had together.
ОтветитьBeautiful, sends me to another place
Ответить"I forgive you."
"Don't bother."
Bucky and Gimlet dancing to this song in a crappy makeshift bunker.
