Yea there is a similar method on moon, the engram drops should really scale off of the lvl of the mob IMO. That would fix this cheap trick thus only high lvl strikes offering good drops like it should be. Though getting legendaries off of PvP is more common than this method anyway.

Approximately how long did it take you to get one legendary? I have been farming for quite a long time in Venus in another mission and have not gotten a single one. ( Im level 23)

thumbs up This is a great method. I've been using the runaround spot on Venus with the big captain guy, which obviously takes a while. This is gonna help a ton~

@vanonji You have to kill it yourself if you want an engram or two, since each player gets their own loot by the enemies they kill. So if you let them kill the mobs, you won't get any engrams.. Well so far that's my experience, please correct me if I'm wrong

Great spot! Sadly I didn't get any Legendary drops, but after 2 hours I'd gotten a ton of greens, and a good amount of Blue Engrams (Sadly I have awful luck and despite the vast amount of blue, none of it was better ;( )

I think they should make the legendary engrams give class related gear. I don't like the fact that my first legendary engram gave me warlock boots that i can't use. I dont have a warlock and wont until i get my hunter more gear. That would be my only gripe with destiny.

I didnt get any legandaries but i got about 5 strange coin out of it

This game really pisses me off sometimes, im level 20 have played about 10 crucible matches and havent got anything worth keeping and the engrams always give me rare ffs

It doesn't matter if other people get the kill, even if they're not in your group. You will still get the exp and drops if you're close enough. I was leveling a character and just sat there, I got tons of exp and drops.

* they just patched this with the recent patch. "/ just announced it on Twitter. I managed to get one legendary out of this. Soo guess that's good. :)
