Maybe worldwide pyramids purpose is very simple. They had knowledge of past worldwide flooding from oceans from asteroid or meteor hitting ocean causing sea level rise worldwide. maybe in high population areas on flat ground they build pyramids as a way to escape a sudden flooding of the area.? Kind of like a bomb shelter underground people can escape. Maybe the purpose of pyramids is something similar, a way for humans to survive something bad. ?
