Marlo Thomas's book "FREE TO BE YOU & ME" gave me some really important information about the women we saw on those early cleaning products commercials that I will always remember. She told us that women did not clean the toilet bowl in a shirt waist dress and high heels. For some reason that warmed my female DNA and made me a better person.

I love Marlo Thomas! She reeled me in when she hit the TV scene as "That Girl." She is and ALWAYS has been a CLASS ACT. The beautiful clothes she wore on that show. Wow! Also loved when she had Diana Ross help her on the album 'Free To Be You and Me' (Diana performed the song "When We Grow Up"). I respect her work and commitment carrying on her father's legacy with St. Jude. She really touches my soul with that one. The world is so crazy and Marlo, if I'm lucky that you see this, watching Ann Marie, Donald, Lou, et. al makes my world a better place. So glad that God and your parents created you! Thank you!

I absolutely love Phil Donahue. But I respect him more than anything. He is genuine, compassionate and honest. He is the reason for any & all daytime talk shows. The thing that sets his show (and Oprah), is the entire episode was about only 1 subject. For me he will always be the very best. I miss his show so much
