It looks like you have a regular gas cap or is it a lock gas cap on the filler nozzle, could you let me know what type of cap it is and if possible let me know where you bought it, also do you like the cap?

You would need longer bolts with lock nuts on the backside

I assume that this type of cover fits just about all the US made vehicles?

Instead of using the supplied allen head screws, you should purchase some security bit head screws and the tool bits for them and use those instead. There are various types so you could even use 2 different types if you really want to make it a pain for someone to take that cover back off.

Gas @ $7 and going up...anyone with a 5/32 allen can could open your cap in seconds ... just get a locking gas cap for 15 bucks.

with gasoline prices skyrocketing. the need for fuel locks is high. My nissan rogue fuel door does not lock...bummer.

All the comments saying it’s so easy to get into. Dudes. My gas door doesn’t lock, the spring is broke. If they want to they can just swing the door open and go. This is at least half a step more to get to the gas. I’ll take it! (Plus, my door won’t be flying open as I drive down the road/when I stop)

Would not fit my 2006 sierra, even though it says it would....rubber anchors were too small for the holes where the rubber bumpers were.

So in summary, a 5/32 Allen key will get you a $50 fancy, gas cap and this mans tank of gas.
