While I obviously don't know for sure, I expect that the 100M deal for Tomb Raider is overblown. I expect it included things like co-marketing deals, technical assistance on a new console, and things like prominent ads all over the place. They probably still did overpay. But it wasn't an unreasonable bet at the beginning of a gen and to face off against uncharted with a very good game following up on a very good reboot.

If it were 100M JUST for exclusivity, then that's insane. But if it includes the totality of everything Microsoft and Square did together related to that title, it actually sounds fine.

The problem with ADS is it uselessly wastes a primary action button, I still wish ADS wasn't a thing in any shooter.

If you are going to digitally read then use a tablet. As soon as books became digital, I bought into them and read on my Galaxy S5. I even spray book scent air freshener on it to get that authentic experience.

To be honest, I could read between the lines with PS and that's one of the reasons why Xbox became my favorite platform, even when some of my favorite games came from there like MGS, FF, etc.

Great show guys. Personally, yes Kinect 2.0 bombed, however, that is by and large, because MS dropped it to make the Xbox One cheaper, however, I absolutely loved 'Kinect Adventures' and 'Dance Central' and we couldn't have had those without Kinect

On another note, I am so absolutely pumped for Alan Wake Remastered!!

I see this price increase for next gen only games will only help Gamepass grow more. People are going to think about $70 for each released exclusive to Xbox or a $15 subscription and download these games as part of the service. Next year exclusive gmes are going to start rolling in every quarter and that's not counting the other 3rd party games that make a deal with Microsoft to get their game on Gamepass day and date.

That's if Xbox ever decides to increase these games to $70. They may never do that if there are enough subs to their service.

Really hope Avowed has a third-person option. If you can customize your character with different armor sets and weapons, why would you limit it to first-person only where I can't see my character?

lol PlayStation fan babies are so full of shit ! What happened with the Big 8K logo in the PS5 box ? That was another from many Sony lies ? Last year they said PS5 was RDNA3 and in reality is not a full RDNA2, only XBOX Series consoles are the only full RDNA2 ! Ponys think they are the best and always try to be the 1st and now they cry and realize they are losing this generation because Xbox has more nextgen games, has more game studios, has the best subscription Game Pass and that the XBOX Series consoles has more features (Smart Delivery, Quick Resume, FPS Boost, Auto HDR, VRR, etc ) and are more fast and powerful even the SSD load some games faster than PS5 ! When developers start to use the full tools and features of RDNA2 + the XBOX Series Velocity Architecture + the Direct-X12 Ultimate + The AMD Fidelity FX , the Xbox Series consoles will be more fast and powerful ! Microsoft made 2 great consoles hardware and not need a refresh like the PS5 hardware . Sony is now reducing the quality and cost of the PS5 to make more money by replacing the big copper heatsink to a smaller aluminum heatsink , so why they think they are going to made a RDNA3 PS5 that cost more ? They are so dumb !

I find it interesting that Rand is so anti kinect but yet wants hardcore Halo fans to let the game evolve. I loved the kinect I kept my Xbox One purely because I couldn't use the Kinect on the XSX.
