What needs to be done before you can walk again?

I feel like he was on the cusp of a major breakthrough when he died. Another six months, another year and he might have just been able to stand up and walk out of that damn chair. I like how earnest he was about answering these questions. Up until the moment he died I never lost hope for him. I know that as a result of what he went through, other people with similar spinal cord injuries have benefited greatly from new medical techniques.

So sorry Chris life is so cruel.
