So… I was just wondering if a person came into the capital building on tour and they need to go to the bathroom. And the woman has always been a woman but is larger and looks somewhat masculine. And they use the public bathroom. Will they have to drop their pants and put their legs up in stirrups to prove they have the right parts? Or say a group of transgender women come in to talk to their senator from Idaho and they go into the restroom before their meeting with their senator. Doesn't the decision of the appeals court to indefinitely put off the oral arguments mean they indefinitely hold the mandate until such time as they decide to release and remand it back to the district court? There's nothing objectionable about Congresswoman McBride using the women's restroom. She identifies as a woman and she has no interest in other women going potty!! In college, we had a unisex bathroom in the basement where a lot of our classes were held (art school). We all just used a stall, and it was actually very casual and no-nonsense. For those bothered by it, there were gender-segregated bathrooms up a half-flight of stairs, but we were all in a hurry to just go and get back to our class before we missed much material. No biggie. I guess when you have coed figure drawing classes with a nude model, it really lowers the gender threshold! We were there to study, and I laugh now about seeing as many ppl naked as a doctor does. The whole thing with the bathroom is sheer silliness. And, btw, this was over twenty years ago!
