The term the British Isles is an outdated Geographical term that is not recognised by the Irish Government nor by the Majority of Irish people living in Ireland. The UK Government no longer uses the term since the signing of the Good Friday agreement.

Castle Combe is pronounced coom not comb. The correct name for Lake Windermere is Windermere. There is only one lake in the Lake District that has Lake in its name.

Ireland is not part of the british isles . l highly recommend going to Northern ireland lots of cool stuff there as well.just be careful which comunity you're in , the native irish community dont get along with the english community .

Only the British will say that Ireland is in the British Isles, while the Irish say it is not.
