Is Sports Psychology Important?

Some professional players say sport psychology and the mental part of the game is almost everything. Some people learn skills much faster because their psychology enables them to learn from every mistake they make rather than become ever more convinced this sport is not "for them" from every failure that happens.

Yet a shocking amount of athletes and sports schools, clubs etc all over the world completely dismiss the mental aspects of sports. Some are too lazy for it, some don't believe in it, some experience success anyway and of course many just don't know how it's done.

In this video I attempt to explain in an easy to understand way why we are seeing this effect all over the athletic (and normal) world and what we can do to make it better.
