You are the last person that should own a tracked tractor because you will always be worrying if you got the track set right or not. You are way to obsessive to own one. That track is living in your head 24-7. Havent seen anyone side dress corn with anhydrous after it is up in 20 years. Everybody does it in the spring or fall. You are behind the times. Putting on anhydrous is no place to have kids riding with you. That is just foolish.

Vaseline is a petroleum product and it will destroy rubber "O".rings

Does the way you put on n with not running in the planter tracks also help with compaction and makes your track tractor show more yield?

Have you checked the alignment and tension on the other tracks ? Might not hurt where you are already in the process of doing the new one. Me being me, I would adjust the new one, but I tend to be picky.

Have to ask, do you ALWAYS wear your shields and masks when working around Anhydrous?

On the side dressing, are you using auto steer or driving manually? That would be stressful if manual I would think, especially at the speeds you are rolling. And the anhydrous,is that a fertilizer? All interesting to this city boy

Have you ever thought about getting a sidedress bar to put on 32% instead of NH3 a lot safer and also wouldn’t lose anything with compaction like you do with some rows with nh3

Nathan, that metal tube on the beaver tail next to the rubber what is that for. Did you grill the Memorial Day? I think any moving vehicle puts children to sleep lol. When I was coming up I know riding put me to sleep real quick. How many acres of corn are you growing this year a ballpark figure I understand if you don’t want to tell me the exact number.
