This is an incredible play by the Democrats. They have now a chance to win the midterms by stirring up this controversial issue. Trust me, the Dems wants this to happen.

Did anyone in the media or elsewhere ever consider the estimated 63 million children denied a birth since January, 1973?

There is a series of choices that lead to getting pregnant. You still have the choice not to have a baby. Abort=Kill, Fetus=Baby. Abort fetus = kill baby. That is not your constitutionally protected "right". That's why the supreme court wasn't able to uphold it and was forced to send it to the states. By the reaction a bunch of states are having, banning abortion immediately, it shows how many people did not want abortion to be legal. Abortion is simply not protected by the constitution and never was supposed to be.

No one is looking at the "Big Picture" here. This is not a moral issue. This is all about MONEY. America is getting older. And the older people are hoarding the wealth. Not enough young people now to support the economy or continue to work to pay into a Social Security system that probably wont be around in the next few decades when Generation X and Y need retirement.. Not enough young people to take care of all of these aging Baby Boomers now living longer, but sicker. The number of teens having babies has dropped dramatically within the last decade. Who wants to be stuck with a baby on our Workfare System?(Thanks a lot Billy) But the infant mortality rate among newborns in the US, in the last 20 years at least, is third-world scary. And it's not just happening with minority women, as a liberal media would have you believe. Problems that previously plagued only Black and minority communities are now widespread among all races. And now no longer enough illegal immigrants coming from the southern border(with anchor babies in belly), to do the jobs that most US Americans don't want because they are low wage customer abusive service labor jobs. No benefits and no hope of a retirement plan. It's what is fueling this Great Resignation, not the COVID lockdown of 2020. I would blame this more on the 2007-08 crisis, cause by cooperate greed and given a free financial pass by the government. Who on Wall Street went to jail? (perhaps someone should apologize for convicting Bernie Madoff). People are losing hope and becoming disillusioned with the idea of the American Dream. And the government knows it. They have always known it. Yes overturning Roe vs Wade has been on the argument political table for years....at least since I was a kid in the 80s. Bible- states placing billboards on the freeway stating we have aborted over 40 million babies in 40 years(but that was in 2013). But blaming the overture on the Supreme Court is just a distraction from the truth. In reality, it's been done in a vain effort to force procreation in hopes of recuperating population lost sometime within the next 20 years. Our government is desperate.(if not broke) But women and doctors will protest and resist. They will pay fines, leave the country or get tubular ligations if they have to. (It's still cheaper than trying to raise an unwanted child for 18 years) Fear of imprisonment won't help either. When has the threat of punishment deterred crime of any kind in this country...ever? Prisons are overcrowded as is. (but then again...so are nursing homes).
shouldn't

" my body, my choice" just think of that statement real quick when it comes to getting pregnant.... The state does not need to pay and allow abortion because you made the choice to let some dude bust a nut up in you. If your body was so important to you then make a better choice of what goes in it.

There is NO AMOUNT OF SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENT CAN PROVIDE TO RAISE A CHILD FROM BIRTH.... TIL 18..... If the MOTHER does not want to PAY for 18 YEARS OF THE CHILD SHE SHOULD BE ABLE TO ABORT IT.... YOU CAN'T BE FORCED TO RAISE A CHILD....

Perhaps abortion should NOT be banned completely, but American abortion laws were extremely lenient compared to other societies:
"Meanwhile, the United States has, overall, more permissive abortion laws than almost anywhere else in the world. It is one of only seven countries — the others are Canada, China, the Netherlands, North Korea, Singapore and Vietnam — to allow elective abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy, as The Washington Post’s Fact Checker column has confirmed."
