Loved this interaction. I got a bit chocked at the end when he said ‘I hope you for example, put it in your memory bank as a nice day where 2 old friends met and I showed you the studio’
I think this will definitely be a special memory for Damian.

Begrijp het niet goed wat Arnolfini hier van doen heeft ,ik heb terloops te sprake gebracht dat er ook een schilderij verdwenen is van Arnolfini en daarmee ook een ander licht werpt over deze onderwerp ,maar wat ik bezit is een plaatje uit een kalender die weliswaar verborgen was en ik wilde het glas schoonmaken maar doordat er zoveel spijkertjes waren verwerkt vond ik wel vreemd ,dacht toen waarom zoveel spijkers voor een kalenderplaatje plus de datum wanneer het is ingelijst en door wie

Ik weet dat er een samenhang is maar welke is mij niet duidelijk,zeker symbolen ten over, maar wat de bedoeling is,is mij totaal onduidelijk, ja delicaat wordt er gezegd ,dus het engels schieten de woorden voorbij zonder hun betekenissen ,als u zo vriendelijk wilt zijn zal het wel duidelijker moeten zijn eerder kan ik er niets zinnigs erover zeggen,bovendien wilde ik niet meer reageren op een aantal zaken ,want ook ik loop tegen mijn grenzen aan, vooral hoe sommige uitspraken gepleegd worden ,denk ik waarom doen zij dat ,zie vele woorden die laten niets aan duidelijkheid over maar wel zo sarcastisch dat het mij uit mijn evenwicht brengt, denk ik je hoeft je niet te ergeren blokkeer mij dan gewoon dan is het probleem toch opgelost !!! 😢

I had the privilege of visiting Peter's studio around 2009 for some filming, a truly incredible place. Loved this video.

Talked to Peter Blake at The Arnolfini many years ago. At that time he was interested in the painting of Ruralist scenes. I asked about his direction in art. Perhaps he has forgotten about his lecture forum at The Arnolfini in Bristol.
