Also i think if you want to win quickly, a recipe could be to pre-seed the board with a handful random blind clicks, and then when you do the actual resolve and have dubious areas where you can't decide, they might actually turn out to be an island you have access to from the other side.

Couldn't you put the squares that you have to guess on in a buffer and then put those calculations on a separate thread while it continues solving the rest of the board to save time?

Not sure if someone has already pointed this out in the comments yet or not, but if you are optimizing for time, why are you making your AI right-click on the spots with mines to flag them? Surely the AI is able to keep track of which spots are definitely mines without right-clicking for flags?

Does remind me of my internship where my supervisor asked me to run my program a few times and record how long their execution times are, which I did and submit to him, and he takes one look at the times and ask me, "You didn't turn off logging, did you?" LOL
