Mounting an Anvil to a Stump

I just wanted to thank you and let you know that your video helped me a lot. This is a fantastic way to mount an anvil.

If I'm not mistaken thats an Peter wright anvil judging by the step on the feet.

I agree... great way to set an anvil. Also, that sure does look like a Peter Wright, and if so, it is a good one! It is a little rough, but at some point you can dress it up and maybe square it up a to a certain degree. Thanks for the video!

Again I wish that I had a router! I really like this idea.

Never seen a washer before. Saves having to drill a hole thru the angle iron. It seems the more elaborate straps that people handforge are unnecessary. I like the routing too. Makes for a good video if u film it next time. Best wishes happy smithing
