They should have stuck to the original story it was not a French ship they were after it was an American ship. Hate it when they change things (Yank film so need to cater to the yank moviegoers) when marketing and or movie studio execs gets in the way of things.

It's one of the best films I've ever seen, simple as that.

In my humble opinion, this is without a doubt one of the best movies ever. Cinematography is exquisite, story line - just all of it. Well acted and beautiful.
