Jackie and Takaris life are one and the same. That's her child and even tho Takari is an adult now, that's still her child and they should be involved in each other's lives therefore part of their individual stories will be the others story

I think she wrote the book for closure. Closure as in exposing her mom for revenge so that she can feel better.

She wrote the book for herself. I think the book was edited with Jackie in mind. "She had some guidance from someone", but who?

What is the point of her writing this book? It will not make anything better for her. Her mother will not come running with tears in her eyes apologizing... Her life will not thing. People who like Jackie will continue and people who didn't like her just have something else not to like. The daughter might sell some books and call it child support money that she didn't get from her parents. There are no winners.

I really don't care if Takari is trying to make money off of her story. She obviously did not benefit as a child and although she needs to let go of her past, if she gets PAID in the process, she's doing NO MORE OR LESS THAN LET'S SAY THE KARDASHIANS, who got their start from their DAD'S/EX-HUSBAND'S relationship with O.J. SIMPSON. GIRL GET YOURS AND THEN LET GO AND LET GOD...

I feel like if this is her story at some point I’d love for her to put herself in it. the book is kind of a read on Jackie. It seem like she got her information about drug empire from people around her the book reads like tmz or Wendy Williams report. She telling all her parents business how her father used to be like Pablo Escobar and her mama Trap Queen. This book would be phenomenal if it was told from her perspective from a child to now. She involving to many unreliable sources how everybody in the hood said this and that. All I wanted from her was to answer how was it like in detail growing up with Jackie for a mother when did you start to feel she didn’t love you idc if Jackie sold drugs and shop lifted or how she was sleeping her way to the top with too many bodies. I just wanted to hear her cries for a mother’s love . I need to read this book to give it a chance to be good but it reads like a burn book on Jackie .

Takari, sweety, I'm judging. I'm not saying Jackie was right but writing a WHOLE book about your own mother, a book that re well aware will make her look bad, she is still your mother & the person who will be there... well I'm not so sure after this book but your mother is the person you will need when all the fans have forgotten about u or when someone writes a book with better "tea". I honestly don't have the best relationship with my own mom(not as extreme as your situation, not even close) but I wouldn't write a book about her because fixing my relationship with my mom has been my mission. I always feel like what happened, happened. I just want my mother in my life, for myself & my future kids. I really hope you heal after this book & hopefully u & Jackie can fix things & just try 2 get alone and just try 2 have mutual respect and mutual understanding for the sake of your kids, your family & your peace of mind. I'm not saying "speaking your truth" is wrong but that's your mother, girl. Anyway, I was never in your shoes & u probably have a good reason 4 writing this book, so I wish you & your family nothing but the best. God bless u, u are so beautiful. P.S. I had a mom who treated me like that all my childhood and even as an adult. I was always excluded from everything good my siblings enjoys. But I forgave her, and guess who is taking care of her in her old age since all her other children abandoned her? Me of course! The only unwanted and unloved child to her. Smh be careful how u treat all your kids parents. I could have just of easily ignored her needs/despised her as she ignored mine all my life.

Jackie will have to answer to God for how she treated and treats Takari so cruelly. My goodness

This book is about Jackie, not Ta Kari, its an easy meal ticket. So sje doesnt have to work and take care of her children. Ta Kari had more than what some other kids has, she had her grandmother. And where is Ta Kari father at in all of this. I mean, ai am not excusing Jackie, but damn, where is the daddy? Thats why I say this is some BS.

At the end of the day Takari's childhood had a great deal to do with Jackie's life! Our children's story stems from the life we provide for them. In this case, not much was provided from the mother which caused the child a life time of pain smh if u wanna know why a person is the way they are, why they think the way they think, why they move the way they move; ask them about their childhood/upbringing! I'm pretty sure a lot of their story will be much of their mother's!

There are 3 sides to every story, yours, mine, and the truth. I'm not condemning anyone because I don't know their truths but, from the parts you've been reading the book sounds like it's about her mother's life. Not her's.

Ugh,I just don't understand why why!? If these things are true,why,jackie!? Why was this daughter treated so differently,so bad!? Why,because she was a bit heavier than the other daughter, because she was a bit darker than Jackie liked!!?? I just don't understand! If these things did happen then Jackie is just a deplorable human being who truly deserves to burn in hell,FOREVER!!! Why,though!!?? Jackie is one sick individual(But again if this is truth and not lies,which I believe that this did really happen at least to some extent.

When I think about an abusive parent, molestation, physical abuse, torture and other similar lines. To me what Takari says about her mother DOES NOT EQUAL ABUSE. It sounds like a spoiled, bitter, ungrateful person. She didn't tuck me in enough as a child. She didn't give me enough attention when I was a child. She didn't do my hair like I wanted as a child. She didn't buy me the presents I wanted for Christmas as a child. She didn't provide the big fancy house that Sarah mom had when I was a child. CANT NOBODY TELL ME ANY OF THOSE THINGS CONSTITUTE CHILD ABUSE PERIOD.
