Can Gold/Copper/Silver (Gold Filled Jewelry) be somewhat refined using a microwave? I'm trying to find a way to remove copper from gold? Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьI hate that he kinda looks like ted cruz 🤮 otherwise awesome video
Ответить😂
ОтветитьWhy does the plasma go up instead of down?
ОтветитьA great video, but one correction:
Ruby is not a type of sapphire. Sapphire and ruby are both types of corundum. Sapphire can be yellow, purple, orange, green, or even two different colors. If the corundum is red, it’s called a ruby; if it’s pink, it might be called either.
Now I’m off to find myself a “chemistry microwave”!
What temperature did the oven reach?
What setting or how did you decide the temperature needed
I would have first placed a larger loose birds nest of the aluminium wool in that little depression for candles, and bit by bit added the powder, tapping the tealight hollder as I went along to get it in every little gap in the birds nest of aluminium wool.
Ответитьtell us how to make other stones in the microwave..
ОтветитьThat is so cool! I've heard of making gems combined with bismuth which creates effects RF related.
Thanks for sharing.❤
hey, is there any reason you specifically used aluminum wool instead of steel wool? would there be any difference if you were to use iron wool instead?
ОтветитьI have diamond seed can I make diamonds ?
ОтветитьWas he the kid from Hook ? With Robin Williams?
ОтветитьEs más fácil comprar el ruby que conseguir los materiales para fabricarlo 😅
ОтветитьCould you not combine the two effects to make a microwave crucible that created a plasma inside it? Also, since the green powder is toxic, could we not just make sapphires out of the pure aluminum oxide? This project is interesting to me because I know that jewels could be used in mechanisms as a very resistant shock piece with barely any friction, and the red color is just for show
ОтветитьYou can use a better insulator for the oven.
ОтветитьWhy didn't you just use a grape in the center? ( like you mentioned)
Ответитьtry it with Magnum metal i bet its better than aluminum
ОтветитьWhy didn't you use a Pyrex glass vial?
ОтветитьI guess we will have to take your word for it.
ОтветитьCan I do this at home?
ОтветитьPhilosopher stones
ОтветитьHe's handling it like it's uranium
ОтветитьIn my apartment complex folks have tossed unwanted microwave ovens into the dumpster. And in my small unit i've assembled a modest collection of them. Of course i've cleaned them up for storage. I don't want to attract roaches. Lately my regular 1KW ovens went fritzy. So i've been repairing them and learning about magnetrons in the process. I'm impressed and inspired by your efforts. Thanks. Your presentation was a jewel, a marvel.
ОтветитьNever melt/fuse 2 different scraps of glass together unless you are POSITIVE that they have the same COE (coefficiency of expansion) or they can explode at any time without warning.
ОтветитьWARNING: Chromium Oxide and other Chromium compounds are mostly carcinogens. Don’t play with them unless you know your electron shells. (Still don’t play with them.)
ОтветитьDid you ever think to try a thermite reaction. Aluminum powder, iron oxide (rust) and a bit of the chromium oxide all mixed together in a crucible with a hole in the bottom. When the reaction is complete the products are elemental iron and sapphire, with the chromium included you should get chromium-steel and ruby. Watch a few thermite videos first.
ОтветитьYou: Don't try this at home!
Everyone: Trying this at home.
😂
Are they facetable though?
ОтветитьPlasma is a partially or fully ionized gas. That has ions and electrons separated. Aluminium wool works like wires. It has small diameter of filaments that heat up quickly to high temperature because of high current from plasma electrons. That's why your rubies have been created only where aluminium wool was inside your seed material.
ОтветитьWith Aluminum melting point of 1,200F and Chromium melting point of 3,500F do you think the TKOR’s Solar Death Ray would be hot enough to make these Rubies?
ОтветитьWould I be able to make a ruby laser with us theoretically?
ОтветитьQuién lo diría k se podían hacer Diamantes hace años!!!,y RUBÍS en micro!!.👍👍👍👍👍😲
ОтветитьIf you do this on a train line is it Ruby on Rails ?
ОтветитьPerfect idea for cosplay
ОтветитьPlease made a rube buildings USA please sir please
ОтветитьCan a ruby be grown using a HHO or Browns gas welder?
ОтветитьCan a ruby be grown using a HHO or Browns gas welder?
Ответить¡Fidel Castro...!
ОтветитьCan you mix the aluminum oxide and Chromium oxide with an iron oxide and create the ruby with the thermite reaction? Or will the chromium oxide throw off the chain reaction of the thermite?
ОтветитьEstas mal, no usen microondas para procesar alimentos.
ОтветитьI just got arrested for selling fake rubies to arabs and my lawyer will be calling you to defend me..i trust you
ОтветитьUy bueno tu experimento
ОтветитьWhy not use a longer time and a larger dish, larger everything etc?
ОтветитьThe next challenge: red beryl
ОтветитьOn the next episode, making rubies with a Tesla coil!
ОтветитьOr Emerald when they're green.... they are all Sapphires, but generally, only the blue ones are referred to as such.
