What is Cunard "WHITE STAR" Service & how it will impact your Cunard Cruise!

I always found the carnival takeover funny. Destroy our history and what saved the company in the 80’s. It was the NAL sisters that brought the luxury back to Cunard. Nothing happened in 1983 in todays Cunard world.

I don't think anything beats the service on Cunard. I enjoy living like a V.I.P. for a week or so. It's always hard to get back to everyday life.

I loved the space and the service on both QV and QM2. Relaxation and entertainment at its best.

Chris, we know vibration plagued the Mauretania/Lusitania. How bad was it in First Class overall? Arnold Bennett traveled on RMS Lusitania to New York and back in 1911. I think his stateroom was around E Deck. He never mentioned vibration as being a problem in his journals.

Hi Chris.....I have always thought of "White Star Service" as connoting the highest level of service possible. I truly did experience White Star Service on my QM2 voyage in 2018 and on my QV voyage in 2020. Both voyages were top-notch. Wonderful experiences! On my two QM2 voyages in 2022, and especially on my QE voyage of 2023 many of the little details of Cunard's high service standards had been omitted. It's a shame how Cunard has lowered it's traditional high standards.
