Sasha knows how to play Alcaraz now. If he can only beat Carlos on grass. That would be a great feat.

Why was Alcaraz so angry when he missed the volley to end the first set? He seemed to be annoyed with his coaches, but I don't understand what they could have said that would have ticked him off.

Alcaraz is inconsistent and unpredictable. May be because he is too young

court level is always amazing but this wide distorted court the finals always have makes tennis so ugly

Never seen such high level from Zverev. Even for Sinner’s standards, it will be mighty difficult to beat Zverev.

Why didn't you guys show Alcaraz furiously destroying his racket with all his anger - only smiles and handshakes.
A year ago at ATPF 23 against Rune, Djokovic calmly broke 2 rackets one after another - all angles.
The Silver Boy propaganda narrative continues, doesn't it, huh?

Finally Zverev beat Alcaraz again. Anyway, the reason i actually wished Zverev to win Australian Open 2024 is cuz he beat Alcaraz in the QF of Australian Open 2024 so he actually helped Djokovic secure his additional 19 weeks at no. 1 despite he only reached the SF so he lost 1,200 points. He was still no. 1 with 600 points ahead of Alcaraz and it was the moment when it had been Alcaraz's turn to defend bunches of points after Australian Open 2024 until after Wimbledon 2024. That's why Alcaraz failed to be no. 1 this year!

Anyway, Djokovic actually had made the coincidental situation about surpassing Steffi Graf's 377-weeks no. 1 record:

- On February 27th, 2023, Djokovic surpassed the total of Graf's record for 377 weeks at no. 1
- On February 28th, 2024, Djokovic surpassed the total of Graf's record for 377 weeks at no. 1 again. Aaaahhhh!!!!! I mean the range of weeks at no. 1 between Djokovic and Alcaraz as much 414 - 36 = 378 weeks
- On March 25th, 2024, Djokovic doubled Nadal's no. 1 record
- On June 3rd, 2024. Djokovic finished his 428th week as no. 1 player. What a historic despite his record at no. 1 isn't enough, actually!

Zverev has been really impressive this year. A few years ago he had significant weaknesses undermining his obvious strengths. He now seems to have quite a complete game. The question is whether he can believe in himself enough to win 7 potentially 5 set matches under huge pressure, as there's likely to be doubt in his mind at the age of 27/28 which players don't have so much when they are young and without the scars. The chance is there though, as he is a formidable player.

Poor Carlos he looked like he was going to have a 3yr. old toddler melt down. He was suppose to be #1 by now nadal told him it would happen. He just keeps slipping & falling. No mental or emotional control. Bravo Zverev great sense of humour back from a broken ankle dealing with diabetes & a very jealous childhood sweetheart that wanted to destroy him. Bravo Sasha you deserve this win.
