too much drama for me....took away from what and who Paul was. Paul was a Parissee, a learned man of both Torah and Halakhah laws . ....right up to his last days Paul went up to the Temple in Jerusalem to worship God and honour the Feasts of God

WHY was baptism portrayed in this movie as a scoop of water on the head?
Jesus Christ made it very clear that baptism by immersion was His way. He showed us the way. He set the example.
No true disciple, or Apostle, or anyone given authority by Jesus Christ back then, would have scooped water and released it on top of someone’s head like that. Especially not so soon after His Ascension back to God, our Father in Heaven. That’s not how Jesus Christ said baptism should be done.
After all the apostles were killed, THEN the confusion came. Jesus Christ’s gospel was shattered like a broken mirror, and shards of His gospel were taken by people who thought they knew best, and took it upon themselves to create their own version of Jesus Christ’s church, preaching their own version of His gospel. Creating different religions lead by men who did not have the authority from Jesus Christ to create their own church to begin with. There are so many religions out there. Which one has the fullness of the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ? Which religion has authority from God? Which one is correct? This is something we all must search for.

I just wished they had Stephen give that beautiful speech before he was stoned! Steven literally let them have it! He told all of them they always resisted the Holy Spirit! Like there fathers did. It was fairly long but he got their attention and there is more that should had been mentioned that would had been outstanding to see and hear . Including how Stephen sees Heaven open and the Lord Jesus standing on the right hand of God. And that’s what made them all even more furious! I like watching these movies but I love reading the actual accounts myself and envisioning it. Can’t wait to meet them all!

Has anyone here, watched this movie and noticed they don’t stick to scripture? Saul was not with Barnabas! His name was changed to Paul by the Lord. And that girl was not in account either And they added this romance in the movie instead of adding the real account which they leave out so much!
I can’t stomach to watch this anymore! I pray for new Christian’s to please read the accounts in Gods word before watching the movie so they don’t get confused with what is in Gods inspired word and not think the account happened like this! I could go on , but there’s waaaaay to much adding and not enough of truth going on here.

I really like this movie but one inaccuracy I see is the young woman who watned about the plot in Jerisalem to kill Paul. According to the 23rd chapter of Acts it was not a female at all but the son of Paul's sister.

This movie missed the years Paul spent alone making tents before he preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Pentecost scene could have been so much better . There was no detail of what actually happened. The Bible shows that they all were talking in each others native tongue and ran out into the street with others claiming the sane thing. I love watching this movie though but as most Christian Bible movies they are historically not accurate when it comes to ethnicity or detailed events . I try to take it with a grain of salt because I still love the story . It really show true Christian devotion in the times of persecution. The people of God still loved Jesus and obeyed him regardless if the back lash. So many of us in the west are comfortable and don’t know true persecution .

Tremendous movie. I just finished an in-depth study of the book os Acts in the Bible, with the messages of R. C. Sproul. I encourage you to google those lessons. It goes word for word through the entire ministry of St. Paul, and R C includes much history of the Roman Empire at that time, as well as information from classical literature. It was a tremendously dramatic period of history, and I think it's easy for today's Church to take for granted the danger, suffering and sacrifices the Apostles and early Christians made to believe and stand for God's Truth, and to bring the Gospel to the world, and ultimately to us. This movie, as I was studying the account in Acts, brought all of this so alive to me. How grateful I am to God for choosing and sending this great messenger of His truth into the world. I'm praying for courage to stand firm as they did, to be a good witness for God in our world now.
