Should you encourage kids to play multiple sports? Many parents and some coaches even stick by the idea of only playing one sport, to master it. But really, focusing on multiple sports, will give a larger skill set and benefit the child more than it would by playing one sport. Playing one sport vs. playing multiple sports is like comparing going to high school for one subject vs. multiple subjects. So, should you focus on one sport or multiple sports? Definitely have your kids focus on multiple sports if they want to.
