Here's how I've got my rig set up for tonight. Right now it's in the mid 50's and raining and will drop into the low to mid 30's overnight and keep raining. This creates a situation where I could use several different methods to set up my rig and could use several different quilt combinations : I could use all down or all synthetics, both 30° or both 40° quilts, a mix of both like I'm choosing to do, with a bug net, no bug net, UQP, no UQP etc etc. So I figured I'd show how I decided to do things for this situation so if your new to hammocks, you can really see that there are a million different ways to do things and get an idea of how you might want to set yours up in a similar situation. If your not a new hammocker, to me it's always neat to see how others set up there rig to get ideas on how to improve my own. So this is how I do it using gear that's mostly all from the cottage manufacturers Hammock Gear, Dutchwaregear , Snugpak and Wilderness Logics. I'll also do a vid soon using all DIY and budget gear to really show that you don't need $1000+ worth of custom made to order gear to achieve the same goal : to be completely dry, warm and comfortable in a hammock. I'll use a set up that anyone could pick up even if you were on a budget. So here's my rig for a cold and rainy spring night, let me know if you have any questions and I'll see you next time. ~ Chesapeake
