ОтветитьSo helpful, thanks
ОтветитьThank you ❗
ОтветитьPain in the butt.
ОтветитьBut your directions were very helpful. Thank you!
Ответитьnightmare when unit needs to be disassembled and put back together
ОтветитьBiggest pile of junk I have ever bought.
ОтветитьVery clear instructions. Easy to listen to and also understand. I did not know about the 8 rotations. Thanks so much!
ОтветитьWhat if you're off grid and don't have a faucet to prime?
ОтветитьThank you for the video!! Very helpful!
ОтветитьShort and to the point. Time efficient tutorial. For busy schedules.
ОтветитьI've had my Berkey for over 10 years and absolutely have loved it. Great tasting, clean water. Only need to prime the filters every couple months, and it really doesn't take too long. However, the last filter I bought in 2021 was a huge headache. It had to be primed every week. After priming it would filter and drain very well into the tank below, but within a couple days it would slow down and by a week or so it would barely drip at all, so I had to reprime. I eventually completely removed the flouride filters because those made it even slower. After a year and a half of this, I couldn't stand it any more and got new filters. I generally replace filters every 2 years, but was done with all the messing around and just wanted to start fresh. I have no idea why, but I'm having worse trouble with these new ones. I only get good flow for one day, maybe 2, then it slows down considerably. I have to reprime twice a week, and in the meantime my family is drinking from plastic water bottles because the Berkey will not produce anymore. This is VERY frustrating and I can't figure out why this is happening. Like I said, they worked great for the first 10 years, now it's a struggle. The only answer I get is prime for longer and scrub the filters for longer. Done this, it doesn't help with anything. Does anyone have any suggestions???
ОтветитьHave you used the British Berkefeld filter? They are more affordable in the UK and would love your opinion in them.
ОтветитьSure, most of these videos are using old faucets. Easy peasey.
How about using the new modern sinks wide a wide end. Doesn't work. I'm frustrated!!!
I'm and disabled. This is too hard for me. I hope I can get some help. It's very important that I get Berkey clean water to drink.
ОтветитьThere must be a better way to get water in the black filters. A funnel? Small hose?
Argh
Screw Berkey , im switching to pro one ( they never have stock, but still better) . The berkey system is too messy and annoying to prime. After 4 years, bye berkey.Hope you get an easier priming system.
ОтветитьThis is super helpful. My daughter and I had a lot of fun doing this together.
Ответитьmine is black, not blue
ОтветитьI have primed the black filters 3 times already but the water flow is really slow and never made through the full tank.
ОтветитьI'm having a problem with the water filtering through too fast. It's a steady stream not droplets and haven't found anyone having this issue.
ОтветитьHere I am after 48hrs of reinstalling new filters 2 black, 2 white, with no filtering flow of water at all & wondering what I had done wrong. Looks like I did not prime the black ones long enough and the filters were only seeping through 1/2 way, which made them not work at all. This time I checked before adding the 2 gallons making sure the filters dripped first. So far so good. Thanks for the tips.
ОтветитьI can’t get mine to drain at all!
ОтветитьWhere do you get a primer button
ОтветитьJust shopping but the proceedure doesn't look too bad. Thanks.
ОтветитьSo if the water sprays all over you can’t tell if it beads up… and setting up is it normal for the water to just run through???
ОтветитьI’ve primed them so many times and still can’t get them to sweat or water to flow.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьA friend helped me set up my new Berkey today. Maybe I’m alone in feeling this, but I felt the process was very complicated. I had no idea we’d have to prime black & white filters, which we struggled with and which took forever, then test with red dye, etc. Fortunately, he was very good at bolting everything together, but even he was frustrated at how long it took and at the difficulty. I hope this was all worth it because I have to be honest here and say that if I knew ahead what would be involved, I likely never would have purchased this.
ОтветитьSuper easy and straightforward!
ОтветитьSeems pretty straightforward. I was actually kind of dreading it.
ОтветитьExcellent - punchy & quick
Thanks mate ❤
The tutorial was great! Saved me time trying to remember all priming process!👍
ОтветитьThanks for this video. The directions included are obtuse, to say the least.
ОтветитьHow do I get away from plastic touching my filtered water? I am so frustrated with plastic always being in touch with the water.
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьIt was hard until I saw your video, thanks!
ОтветитьYeah the white filters take A LOT to get clear water
ОтветитьThank you for this info!
ОтветитьThank you so much. I was panicking. You made it so simple!
ОтветитьI am not sure to have done correctly as the water run down the side. It is difficult to seal completely.
May be I have to do it again ?
Very helpful/ thanks !
ОтветитьHi, thank you so much for your videos!! They are awesome! Cuts down on reading pages of instructions. I found the process pretty easy but I am handy. You do need to pay attention to the details. 😊
ОтветитьI have tried to do this multiple times with my faucet and after about 1-2 mins it is soaked from the leakage and then the beads of sweat are not coming through. Any alternative or advice?
ОтветитьThank you, easy instructions!
ОтветитьVery helpful. My travel berkey comes with two spickets, one plastic and one metal. I don't see any directions for using the optional metal one. Any idea?
ОтветитьVery helpful, thank you. I had a spray tap insert on my kitchen tap, meaning it was hard to get the pressure to prime the filter. I got round it by using my outdoor hose tap in the garden which has a higher pressure single stream of water.
