Walz’s popularity with leftists and young people really weakens the right’s argument that a traditional middle-American lifestyle and old-school values are frowned upon by those demographics. I’m a squarely Midwestern guy (grew up near Walz’s childhood home) who flies the flag (to show solidarity with my neighbors and fellow Americans regardless of political affiliation), who leans to the left and despises the deception, hypocrisy, and selfishness of Republican politicians. It’s good to see some representation on the ticket in Walz.
